From Stepford to Stepfeld

I want to develop a story concept that is somewhat related to The Stepford Wives.

In the original, the wives become docile by some external means forced onto them.

What if there were a town, Stepfeld, where women freely decide to become docile, but they are not lifeless, but demanding that their husbands provide for them. Everybody in the country knows about it through hearsay and speculates. Stepfeld has a well-known open-air market hosted by the inhabitants. People come there under the pretense of visiting the market, but in reality, they want to see what life is like in Stepfeld. They are shown an image of friendly, caring, sexy, beautiful, docile women.

It looks like a dream for the men. So new couples move there, but the twist is that the husbands, in order to have such a docile wife, are forced into a role-corset as well, which is actually less desirable than the woman's role.

In order for the women to be beautiful, docile, and sexually available, the men have to provide. They have to work twice as hard for a beautiful home and garden, because the women, after all, demand something to occupy themselves with.

So ultimately, the story is about emancipation. It shows that emancipation goes both ways in the sense that it has not only liberated the women, but the men too. It is about the cost of living in a rigid society, even if one side, the men seemingly benefit. However, in truth, they are even more trapped.

At the moment, it wouldn't be an erotic story, but I would like some eroticism. Suggestions?

There is a test for the men. They have to prove both their worth and their ability to lead. They do this by submitting to a domme. This way, they can prove their worth and show the empathy needed to become a dom for their wife.

The domme is an official, paid position...working for the local government to ensure their community standards will be maintained. There could even be an annual 're-submission' to ensure they are keeping up to date with their skills.

Follow the story but in a modern way, slowly eliminate the wives and replace them with AI syncs that look exactly like them. This way the husbands can program them for whatever sex acts they want. There's your eroticism
