Trump's destruction of your political party is going to improve the United States significantly, although he has adopted enough democratic party policies that his presidency will be a net negative. At least that's my read on it.

This whole thread is about how liberal Americans hate their own farmers. You're doomed to step on rakes forever with strategies like this, no matter what your opposition is. You've made your own farmers your enemy. Obnviously you're going to lose. There's no point even feeling any kind of way about it. Your political party has been infiltrated by people who seek to destroy it. That's why you're constantly pursuing self-destructive strategies that make everyone around you hate you. You're being set up by people within your own party. The reason they're doing this to you is that they want the real ideals the party used to represent--equality and equity, better wealth distribution, post-racial society--they're training the American people to treat these ideas with contempt. And you're playing into it with this lesser-evil stuff.

I don't know what all this islamophobic stuff about Muslims in Michgan is meant to accomplish. Obviously I'm not a muslim in Michigan. You have a very peculiar way of communicating. The fact no one normal knows what pro-war liberals are talking about from one moment to the next is yet another reason you and your political allies are permanently fucked.

Farmers aren't stupid but like many working class group they've become dependent on government subsidies and bail outs. Farmers need to do what company CEOs have to do. Adjust to market conditions, plan for diversity and product change, do global searches for other markets and most importantly learn to forecast and plan for impending hardships and change accordingly.

Also, I don't have to plan all that for a year, my family and I budget all the time and so do many others. I do not need to see soil beneath my fingertips to provide for my family. You and epic are working hard to make farming seem like a higher calling than other jobs. t would sound awful stupid if I asked you to prove yourself by working a shift at the my nuclear power plant.

So I just finished watching an in depth report from PBS Newshour (as one would, because PBS Newshour is the best) about farmers and how much they are suffering from current trade policies & tariffs, etc, and a farmers union rep had the nerve to say farmers are suffering “through no fault of their own”…despite farmers voting OVERWHELMINGLY for DonOld & the MAGAt republicans…

The episode on PBS I referenced had a representative from the Iowa FARMERS UNION explaining that the tariffs (which were imposed by DonOld Trump, the "president" the farmers in the FARMERS UNION supported / helped elect) that were devastating their lives, were somehow causing them harm “through no fault of their own”…
