Fun in Minnesota

Your welcome...

Is it getting cold out east? Are you curled up in front of the fireplace watching hockey? Dreaming of snowmobiling? Skiing?

Wish I had a fireplace and someone to share it with...
Being so close to the ocean, the temperature fluctuates from day to day. On Thanksgiving we got four inches of snow. All weekend long, it was freezing. Today, it was nearly sixty, and by the weekend, it'll be around or below freezing again. Crazy. ;)

And I wish I had a fireplace, too! It's one of my fantasies for when I get my own apartment. Not too likely, but it could happen, which keeps the fantasy alive a little longer. Until I sign up for four walls and a door or two, anyway, sans fireplace. Alas.

And I'm afraid I don't watch much hockey. The Northstars killed that for me ages ago. ;) I still watch football on a weekly basis, though. *grins* And... "Survivor". it's all those scantily clad people. Mrow.

You do have some crazy weather...It's been cold here all week. Three days in a row of 2 below in the morning!

I'm not much of a football fan anymore but I used to be. I think it's the money they make. Can you imagine making that kind of money to play a game? They all seem to complain too much for being called 'Professionals'. I always watched the Vikings but also liked the Patriots and Broncos.

What is your favorite team? Favorite player? Do I dare ask this...Favorite position?

Keep dreaming of that fireplace...Maybe you could get a video of burning logs in the fireplace, turn up the heat, grab a book and a glass of wine??? Maybe invite that guy over? Ahh, the possibilities of the imagination...

Christmas is just around the corner. What are you going to ask Santa for?

Man, I do not miss the Minnesota weather, much as I miss the rest of it sometimes. ;) Here, we get gorgeous snow... and then it MELTS! Ha! :D Awesome.

And yeah, the major league (fill in the blank) stuff gets old so quickly. But I do love the sport. I've been a Broncos fan since I was a little girl. (I liked horses, and the Vikings made my parents cry; it was an easy decision.) Living out here, though, you just have to cheer for the Patriots. And that was true before they started winning super bowls, too. It's just... fun.

My favorite player, naturally, used to be Elway. Now, I don't much care. And favorite position? Dare I say bareback? No, fullback. Wait, what was it? (teasing) I've always had a soft spot for the punters and place kickers. It's the soccer background. ;)

And Santa is giving me a trip to Mexico for Christmas, so I'm not going to push my luck. :D

Is this the part in which I am supposed to mention I was a place-kicker in highschool) also a safety and tight-end but mostly a kicker)

OK...I know you don't miss the weather in MN but it's finally snowing!!! I mean a real snowfall. 6-8 inches by the time it's over! Whoo Hoo!

I remember watching the Patriots getting humilated by the Bears in the superbowl way back in 1985. I was in a hotel room in New Mexico...I think they lost 50-3. Those were the days of the fridge, Jim McMahon (Spelling?) even Walter Payton was still playing. That was when I quit watching football...Oh, almost forgot. The Vikings made everyone's parents cry...Still do if I'm not mistaken.

A trip to Mexico! That is fantastic! You'll come back from your trip and you'll be the only one who has a tan!

Have a good time and tell us all about it when you return.

I always thought the Patriots should call their highlight real of their Super Bowl victories "A Kicker Named Adam"

just a thought

Happy New Year to all of you Midwesterners!

Hope everyone had a great Christmas season. The snow we got is absolutely beautiful!!! Did anyone get out on their snowmobile? How about just getting out and playing in the snow? Playing in the Hottub?

I haven't done any of these (Other than plow my driveway, which was cool). My ex-girlfriend and I used to walk out to her hottub naked in this weather! It was the best when it was snowing, even though it was cold outside. It was fun to jump out and run back inside and warm each other up!

See ya!

Well first of all, I don't have a hot tub, although I'd love to have one. Second, my ex girlfriend moved away - she does have a hot tub at her new house though...

Maybe I'll got one after I move...

I used to love soaking in her hot tub after a day at work. It was a great way to relax and let the stress from the day subside. After it got dark we'd get naked, grab some adult beverages, and head out into her backyard and climb onto the hot soothing water. It seemed as if the stress would melt away. Of course I think our activities helped relieve some stress as well! I used to massage her feet while she laid there and let the jets work on her muscles. Eventually my hands would work their way up her soft legs to massage the sweet, soft folds between her legs...Holding her with her back against my chest while she positioned herself over a water jet was a favorite of mine. Feeling her body tremble with pleasure was always fantastic for me and it really got her excited. Theres something about seeing a woman pleasuring herself...Incredibly erotic! I'm glad she was comfortable enough with me. Anyway, after we'd go inside and make love, sometimes for hours! That's another story...

Do you have a hot tub? Any favorite experiences in the hot tub? How was your trip to Mexico?

Dang. Now I want a hot tub!

And I have no experiences.

And Mexico was amazing! We've already decided to do the same trip next year. :D

No intimate hot tub rendezvous? Too bad...But now you have two things to look forward to. A fireplace and a hot tub! I can imagine soaking in the hot tub on a cold winter evening and running inside to warm up/dry off in front of the fireplace. If my ex had had a fireplace, that would have been great. We usually ended up on the living room floor anyway with a few blankets, pillows etc...

I've only been to Mexico once. Had a really good time there with my kids. I liked the hotel, swimming in the pool, the ocean, parasailing and walking the streets. The poverty there is terrible though. It struck a sad note in me as we passed through some very poor areas on our way to the pristene hotel grounds. What a contrast in surroundings. There was a man talking on the bus PA the whole time, trying to keep everyone's attention inside the air conditioned bus so we wouldn't dwell on the impoverished area we were going through. Mmmmmm...

Who did you go to Mexico with? Boyfriend? A bunch of Girlfriends? Did Santa pick you up in his sleigh and bring you down there?
Did you get some time on the beach? By the pool? Didn't the hotel have a hot tub?

Can't seem to get the hot tub off my mind...I remember one occasion during the winter. We were both naked and she, having just experienced the intensity of one of the water jets, sat leaning back on the corner, with her feet on the seats and I...

Yeah, I know what you mean. I felt so guilty sometimes, being such a tourist and stuff. On the other hand, so many of them seemed so happy to have us there. After all, tourists generally bring money in, they don't take it out.

And I went to Mazatlan with my family. It was so relaxing. Exactly what we all needed. Lots of downtime, with minimal touring. Tons of dancing, and really good beer.

With all the money us "rich" Americans bring in it must be good for them. I was in Mazatlan as well and what few purchases I made were from the street vendors. I bought a painting from a man on a street corner who painted using spray paint and pieces of tag board. It was incredible to watch! I think I paid $20.00 for it.

We did the same...No touring except on our own. Hung out at the pool and the beach, ate some really hot authentic Mexican food too! I'm not much of a beer drinker but I think I drank more than my share of margaritas!

I'd like to go back someday.

I know the guy you're talking about! We didn't discover him until our last night, though, and we were all tapped out. Otherwise I would have bought one of his paintings. They were amazing!

Which hotel did you stay at?

I can't remember the name of the hotel (It was last Feb) but it was a salmon colored building. Across the street was a great mexican restaurant, next door was kind of a covered alley where there were many street vendors. Down at the corner there was a Dairy Queen where the painter had his spot. I think his name was Qwan??? Anyway, he painted a starscape over the water for my daughter who was in the hotel sick. We got to talking and when he heard she was sick he signed the painting for her! He was a young guy, pretty good looking (Which helped his business alot) about 25 with dark hair.

Is that the same guy you saw?

I bought a black and white painting of a night-time lake scene with mountains in the background, lots of pine trees and a beautiful waterfall emptying from the mountains into the lake. It's on my living room wall.

The thing I remember the most about Mexico was the pace of things. Everything was calm and relaxed. Sitting by the pool, drinking margaritas, soaking in the sun...It was wonderful.

Absolutely. It was just so stress-free.

We stayed at Torres Mazatlan. Gorgeous place, but we probably won't stay there again; it's just too far out of town, and we came to see the town. ;)

I would agree - In town is better. Did you get to ride in one of those "taxi's"? You know what I'm talking about? Those little souped up golf carts...

I have to say, the painter had some real talent. I stood there in awe at what he could create with a few cans of paint and some torn pieces of tag baord. I was impressed...

I also went deep sea fishing for the first time when I was there. We didn't catch anything except a 5 gal can of diesel fuel we found floating in the water, but it was great to be out on the water all day. On the way out we saw some awesome sailboats, one from Ankorage Alaska. I'd love to go sailing for a week in the caribbean.

Pulmonia! I loved those things. They were really chilly at night, though.

And yeah, we must have watched him for twenty minutes before we headed out to dance for the night. We fould our favorite little place called "Gus Gus" on the main road. Fun, fun times.

And yeah, I'd love to go on a cruise or something one of these days. Sailing would be better, but I have this tiny fear of the sea and capsizing.

Anyway, it's time for me to scoot. Long past time, actually. Good night! And guess what! It's warmer in MN than in MA today. It's 8°F right now, and my room is frigid. Just like old times...

Past my bedtime too...

40 degrees in MN in the middle of Jan! Wierd...

Good night dizzy

January is over and what a winter failure it was! Help is on the way though as Feb started with some fresh, wet snow!!! It's a winter wonderland again...

I think it's going to get seriously c-c-c-cold soon...Anyone have a hot tub?

dr.bong said:
if someone does maybe we could have a bit of a party

A hot tub party sounds great!

What do you guys think? A few adult beverages, good company, and swirling hot water on a cool winter night...

dr.bong said:
well i am obviously up for it

I don't know if there will be any takers judging from previous inquiries. Maybe we should have a "virtual" hot tub party. That could be interesting...Kind of like a hot tub chat room. Mmmmm, have to give that some thought...

Last time I was in a hot tub I was with a woman and we were both naked, letting the stress of the day melt off, feeling the warm water swirling over every part of our bodies, and enjoying each others company...Close company. That was a good night.
