Gamer Chicks

Hiya Kitten ;) if you do decide to join back up we are still trying to create a social guild, but so far I have only seen oni on {although I do know vixenmilf created a character :)} We have created characters on Durotan - PM for our character names :)

i have a couple chars on different servers i'll see what i have ^^ and it would help to know are u on alliance or horde ^^?

I am doing great. I have a Mutants & Masterminds group that just started. My intrepid heroes are trying to prove the District Attorney is a shape shifter.

What are you up to?

hey master where have u been? ^^ i'm not up to much trying to get life settled out ^^

I've been avoiding online games lately, though one coming out for the DS interests me. Too bad I don't have a DS yet....

I'm a PC gamer chick. Call of Duty, Halo, WoW, Spore, Dawn of War...first person shooters are my favorite.

I bought a Tex shirt (Red vs Blue character) because she is a god.

I'd recommend PSO, but the only way to play it now (until Phantasy Star Zero is actually released) is playing Blue Burst on private servers

Alliance character, Lv 43 Human Mage on the US Server - Destromath if I remember correctly.

I'm Aussie so technically I should play the Oceanic server but my fiance is American so I use the US server so I can play with him.

humorous guild story... at least humorous to me

A little background info:

When I joined WoW in January I got on the server that my daughter, her fiance, her dad {my ex} and her grandmother {my ex-mom-in-law} all play on so that I could have friends to play with. As my druid leveled higher and higher I decided to join a higher level guild that my daughter was in even though I only knew her and her fiance... in her dad's guild I still have two lower level toons

[Perp] {my daughter} Hi Mom!
[me] Hi Honey!
[male guild member] Hi Perp's Mom - what should I call you other than Perp's mom
[female guild member] MILF!
[Perp] You will NOT call my mother milf!

What makes this even funnier to me is that now they do it just to irritate my daughter :D

on a sad note when relating this story to my ex hubby and his mom I had to explain what a "milf" was  any wonder he's an ex? :) LOL

Now that is damned funny! :) Which server? I have an 80 on Moon Guard.

Hey!! WoW didn't hijack your thread, much like the Creep from Starcraft or the Blight from Warcraft III, it was planted and flourished. And it's not our fault that nothing else grows there ;).

Seriously, though. I'd be just as happy to meet up with other people in other games. Sadly, too many people in L4D are obnoxious jerks when it comes to multiplayer. Instead of playing and having fun online, I've heard nothing but other players just being rude a**holes. This is both on the 360 AND on the PC (because I do own both).

As for FPS, I'd love to get a group together for some old school FPS gaming, maybe some Half Life 1 or such. But, as it is, WoW has a large player base, it's still one of the most popular MMO's out there and I'm having fun playing it.

But, if anybody wants to play some Rock Band 2, Guitar Hero: World Tour, Street Fighter 4 or Halo Wars or what not, feel free to PM me for my XBL SN.

New toon on Kilrogg - Human Priestess if anyone might be on that server ;)

btw Oni you left too quickly the other day - I am still a bit intimidated by PvP so I won't be on Shattered Hand with you :( but feel free to say hi to me on Durotan anytime you are on there :)

Hi all! Another WoW junkie checking in. At this point I'm either going to have to give up on WoW, Lit, work, sleep, or sex. Needless to say I go through a ton of caffeine.

PvP isn't so bad. It's really just like PvE...just with more jerks on it. Kind of like real life. But, you could always hang out in Sanctuary zones (Home Cities, Ebon Hold [for a Death Knight], Shattrath, Dalaran, Argent Tournament or what not) and never have to deal with PvP unless you flag yourself...just like a PvE server. It's not all bad, though. It adds some spice to the game at times and leads to some hilarious FRAPs...feel free to do a YouTube search for Serenity Now and a Google search for the back story.

Welcome to the thread. What server do you play on? Horde or Alliance?

But they probably thought they were in a safe place, can't be no safe place on a PvP server.

WOW  I am in total shock! That quote is from one of the postings about the vid.

Sorry Oni, but that was just senseless in my opinion.... I thought the funeral was a nice touch for a friend, but to see the opposing factions come in like that... WOW that was just down right mean and asinine... imho

Glad I'm on a PvE server where I know if I kill a monster there is not a real live person behind it getting pissed off at me... or vice versa

Okee...a bit of backstory on the Serenity Now vid. The guy who they're mourning died irl. He was a popular player for both the Horde and Alliance players and both sides came to pay their respects. Now, they're on a PvP server. Holding a Funeral for a fallen friend/foe is a worthy and Honorable thing...but in a Contested Area on a PvP server? That's just lack of intelligence. Now, I know that the player liked Winterspring and liked that area, which is why they had the Funeral there. But...jerks and a-holes abound. There's no difference between that and being on a PvE Server and flagging yourself for PvP in Winterspring. Winterspring is a Contested Zone. It's that way on EVERY server, and if you're flagged for PvP, opposite factions can (and sometimes do) attack. It is World of Warcraft, not World of Fluffy Bunnycraft, that we play. Just my thoughts on it, though. Do I PvP? Nope. My highest pre-Rank is Sargeant. I don't do Arenas. I haven't done a Battleground since pre-BC. I do, however, enjoy the added spice of surviving a ganker. Does it tick me of when I'm running around with my Level 20 and a Level 80 ganks me? Yes. But, I figure it's a Level 80 Whored with no life. I tend to point and laugh at them before I die. As for being safe, Home Cities, Sanctuary Cities, Ebon Hold (for Death Knights) and the Argent Tournament. Unless you flag yourself in a Home City, you're safe. You should just make a Level 1 toon on Shattered Hand. You'll never get ganked. You can stay in a Safe Zone. Or, if you want, I can port you to Dalaran or Shattrath or what not.

Thanks! :)

All of my 80's are currently Alliance on Tichondrius.

Cool...we're trying to create a social Guild on Durotan. Feel free to PM for names. We're Alliance there. I'm mostly on my mains on Alliance on Shattered Hand. I agree with Aphrodite...give up the job...work is a crutch. WoW, food, sex, caffine. Those are all you need to survive ;).

Believe me I can see BOTH sides of the issue and yes I know assholes abound and yes in contested territory was not the smartest move the organizers made, however I guess it just hit a little too close to home for me since my mom in law is terminal and she plays WoW with us so when I first saw the video I thought it was a wonderful gesture

What's the point of playing on a PvP server if I have to stay in the safe zones? However, yes you have convinced me that I need to experience that other side... I like what you said about the extra spice ;) Whisper to me again next time you are on Durotan and I will write down your name and then I will create a toon on Shattered Hand :D

See you in Winterspring :D
