Yes, it is hard to reroll a class you have already leveled to 80. I keep trying to hit all my high lvl spells and they aren't there.

Nice. My 'lock can get the dreadsteed when this patches.

*Hammer dance*

Orcs FTW! My old main was an Orc Hunter. Just to give his long career some scope. He has over 6k Achievement points. That's not bragging, I'm just saying that 3 years is a long time to play one character, and it shows. New main is an undead warrior. My god I love this class. They say that everyone has that one class that defines them. For me, it is the warrior. Prot spec, or course, I'm in the spotlight, I'm in charge of how the raid/instance progresses, and I do what I do best: Put my ass on the line and force everyone else to follow my lead. Because when you are a main tank your life means more than anyone else's in the raid. I die, they die. ;)

I used to be a hardcore casual raider, but I had a major case of burnout recently. So, I'm dicking around with a PvE Arms spec atm. It's interesting how much rogue gear shows up on Gear Wishlist for dps warriors. Maybe one day Blizz will itemize plate for the more Pwn minded warriors. And, maybe pigs are starting to sprout wings as we speak...

So now, I play only when I don't have anything better else to do, and/or I'm bored and need quick ADD fix. :D Oh, and I play primarily on Mal'ganis server as my horde toons and Stormreaver with pet as ally. If you can't be Horde, go Dwarf!

I've been having an oddly good time with my new BE paladin. It probably doesn't hurt that the midsummer buff is up a lot and the proc helps with his DPS.
Ya, i love this mid-summer festival. i rerolled a male BE Paladin on another server, the only one i cross play. i love how arrogant and conceited he is, not to mention i love his dance, lol. (added benefit is no one hits on me anymore) :p With this festival buff and the ribbon pole dance buff (10% extra XP gain) i have leveled an extra 6 levels in less than 2 days and i am now at level 28. Just ran through Razorfen Kraul and Razorfen Downs yesterday and headed to Scarlet Monastery this afternoon. Should make 29 by the time i finish it. Can't wait for 30 so i can get that mount. No telling when the next patch will be coming out. N....E....E....E....E....D that mount now. ;)

hey, your ears always that pointy or are you just happy to see Homburg???

:p:p

All the elf bois keep hitting on me. What'd I do to deserve this?

And is it wrong to prolong the fights with the female night elf sentinels in Ghostlands because I like the noises they make when I hit them?

When it procs as my mage fireballs a spider and B is swiping him with his druid, that silly spider was dead in an instant. And have to love the Recruit-A-Friend for leveling new toons. We went from 18 to 26 yesterday.

Thank the powers that be for level 20 and cat form! omg! Trying to kill mobs of equal level as bear was pure torture. Ignoring the Midsummer proc, my dps tripled as soon as I hit 20. Now, I'm just waiting on the next patch to see the new sexy druid forms. :D

We should rename this thread to "The World of Warcraft corner" lol, it seems everyone play it here.

I changed server few weeks ago, so I had to start leveling new char. I got a night elf hunter of level 45 now. More than half leveling behind me. Thanks God! lol

I started a tauren druid, then a NE druid. In both cases I've stopped. It was a combination of class boredom and lack of ability to do anything with them successfully. I know the class is capable, but, wow, I am tired of getting my arse stomped in by even con stuff when I can take higher level mobs with the majority of my other classes. My Lock can hit stuff that is five levels beyond his if the conditions are right. My druid? Not so much.

Maybe I just need to suck it up and grind for 20.

That is the key there. Druids suck until you hit 20, then OMG cat form rips the mobs asses to pieces. My druid is 80 and she is dual specced healing (for raiding) and boomkin. I am more into casting and standing back, where B loves to get right up in the mobs face and kick it.

Hint, do the recruit-a-friend with a different email address. Dual box or get a friend to play the trial account. Triple xp makes getting to 20 not so ornerous.

MIS' account is a recruit-a-friend account, so that will be how I do it. Hell, I can actually just have her grant a few levels most likely.

I believe you can grant levels up to half the friend's level if they are more than 2 levels ahead. I will have B come by this thread to make sure I am right. He leveled his horde warrior that way.

She was actually able to bring me even with her a couple of times on different characters. If she levels ahead of me, I usually poke her for a granted level. I'm sure we'll run out of the pool accumulated from her initial run (we discovered it when she hit about 16 or so) of leveling, but it's a cool ability anyway.

Giggles, seems a fair trade to me. :D

Also, keep in mind that the 300% xp only works if the two toons are within 2 levels of each other.

I have tried that, poking for a free level, myself Homburg, but alas I'm the only one who can grant levels. I keep poking though. :) BTW, in case you haven't tried it, give warrior a swing. It could change your life. ;)

Ha, no my gaming brother, I can reach in the dice bag sitting on my desk right here and pull out my blue and red Torg die. The system was twitchy as all get out, but the very best game I ever ran was a Torg game under a different system.

I dig me some Torg.
Hello fellow Torg gamer... Its good to know that Im not the only one with one of those little venomous red and blue D20s. I use that for D&D now... if I buy a new dice set the torg die replaces whichever one is in the bag. Its a dense little fucker too, you have to respect the rolls it gives.

Although the Recruit-A-Friend is advantageous for gaining levels quickly, i see two disadvantages.

One, when you grant levels to a character...that character misses out on all the quests along each level that grant reputation gains. If you are a reputation junkie like i am, then it would be a pain to have to go back and do all those quests, and while getting the rep gain, you will get no XP for them.

So when you look at your "40 granted levels" Recruit-A-Friend character, check out the reputation tab and you see nothing but neutral for all the major cities.

The second disadvantage is now you have to go back through all those areas you didn't quest through and pick up all the flight paths as well.

OTOH, if this is just a secondary character, then it would be worth it to get up there and experience the high level content.

:rose:

My mage, which is my main, is working on getting as many factions to exalted as possible. i just reached exalted with Frenzyheart giving me the 10 exalted achievement. However, it is back down to 9 factions because i did the switcharoo and i am now working on the Oracles rep gain.

While i was with Frenzyheart i bought a "disgusting jar" which ripened into a "Frenzyheart Brew" "bringing out the Wolvar in you." It turns you into a Wolvar for 5 minutes and has a 30 minute CD. It's fun being "in costume" performing all my magely duties, but it is very limited on /emotes. Oh well, can't have everything.

I've got a warrior. It's good stuff, but, at the time, my Lock was what was really holding my attention. I don't think I gave it enough time, but, honestly, it was just a side class that I didn't give too much effort towards, as viv and I were more interested in soloing our respective mains. Now with MIS in the mix, we group more, and the warrior just wasn't useful for the mix.

The paladin I mentioned before has been fun, but I'm wondering if the fun will run out when I'm done exploring the Ghostlands et al. After all, being able to do new quests is always fun. Still, the paladin is a fun class.

I've got a rogue that I'm trying to bump up to get more lockpicking, but, honestly, I don't think rogue is the class for me. Maybe it is just because I'm grouped with two hunters, and I don't really get to see much melee as a result. I am really starting to think that I need to ditch the rogue, and put something with some ranged ability with the two hunters. My paladin is of a similar level to these two, and I've got a shaman and a priest that can be brought up to snuff.

Our alliance trio is a bit better balanced. My priest, MIS' warrior, and viv's hunter (viv likes hunters). Pretty nice combo, though MIS does complain a bit of the same issues my rogue has. She just doesn't have enough time to build aggro before the bear pet is pushing the mob around, or the hunter's shooty has laid claim to the aggro.

The hunter is tough to pair/group with so far, and warlocks aren't much better. MIS and I were doing an alliance pally/lock pair that worked moderately well. She stuck with the imp, and thus I maintained aggro on the pally. If she goes VW, I don't know that my pally can keep aggro. Nothing so far has grouped well with the hunters though. The closest was the shaman, and I find that class dull.

I love having it. I bought a Torg box set once just because it was complete with the die. I already had the books, I just wanted the d20.

So far, the most levels that has been granted in one shot is five, on my paladin. It was actually a bit much, as I suddenly had a pile of spells to figure out. And, yeah, it greyed out a load of mobs that I was killing for quests. I kept doing them though, as Exalted with Tranquillien allows for the purchase of a nice little cloak for my level. I've managed to get to the point where the quests and mobs are yellow to me, so the EXP is good again.

may not fit here but I'm posting it anyways:

OK, I think I have ro re-classify myself a Geek-Dom.

I mean I saw these

(yes, they are real police grade steel handcuffs)
& now I am desperately trying to justify spending the $137.00 to put them in my toybox (drawer actually)

& I don't even like to use handcuffs. to easy to hurt my submissive with them, & they can scratch the furniture.

Well, traveling that well worn road of WoW, i have finally leveled 5 of my characters, on my main server, to level 80. Even my son said to me yesterday, (shaking his head) Mom, you need to get a life. LOL (still need to work on my lock, who is collecting dust at level 35)

My two main toons, my mage and druid (yay purple kitties) are both duel specced and have begun the task of gearing up for Naxx and, someday, Ulduar. i have taken my druid (heal specced) into several heroic runs only to have not 1 piece of healing gear drop. *shakes head* Very aggravating.

The other night, after a run through Violet Hold, i took out my Teldrasil Sproutling pet and stood next to the fruit vendor in Dalaran for a "family portrait" lol
