I was freakin pissed. I bought the book for my DK and it stuck around so I sent it off to my bank alt and *poof* tome gone. BOA fucking tome gone. Sorry, correction 1k BOA Tome Fucking POOF VANISH GONE!
I was so mad, I bought it again on my mage at 70 and guess what? POOF FUCKING GONE! Anger. Rage. Fury.

Moral of the story, Mage doesnt have epic flight. Druid does. :p

you put in a ticket about that? I bought the book for my lvl 70 (then) lock (who does not have epic flying), mailed it to him, used it and he now flies in northrend.
the book does poof after you read it tho.

Ohhh...that sucks.

I still think a 20 gold fix is easier than a 1000 gold fix, but that's me.

I got the tome for my druid, no problem, except me checking the name three times "Do not send this to the wrong person, do not send this to the wrong person."

Once I sent a whole bunch of copper to a person named copper.

the cold weather trainer at the landing in Dalaran sells a heirloom book for 1,000 gold thats bind to account. you have to have Cold Weather flying & be lvl 80 (may be wrong there) to buy it tho, & it poofs once you read it.

Tome of Cold Weather Flight

Yeah, I bought that one, but that one works at level 68.

I'm just wondering if you can train cold weather flying with an original character (not one on an account with a level 77) somewhere in Valiance Keep or Howling Fjord.

The original post made it sound like you can now train cold weather flying at 70. Since I only think it can be trained at level 77 by the first character and then 68 using the tome with that character for subsequent characters...I wanted to know if I was missing something :)

if you can make it into Shalzar Basin there is a trainer in Rivers Heart, but I think you have to be 77 still.

on a different note, Blizzard phone support sucks!

frikin busy signal

well, you saw where we have to merge our accounts into Battle.net accounts.

well, my 8 year old son has his own account (yes, Daddy spoils him, & it saves my toons from his sticky little fingers) but it is tied to my e-mail.
when you transfer to Battle.net, your account name becomes your e-mail address, which is the same for his & my account, so that leaves me with a problem.

online was no help, and I don't think they even read the e-mail I sent before sending me a form letter back.

so I am on hold waiting for a meatsack in billing to get on the line

Oh yeah, that's a bitch. Good luck!

We're about to spoil ours, he's gonna get my computer for Christmas and a Warcraft account of his own.

Best. Christmas. Ever.

oh last weekend was a blast with him.

my Girl was here with her daughters (first time we had combined the families) and her younges is a year younger then my son (& missing her front teeth too)

well, those two were thick as thieves all weekend. at one point he was on Wow fighting stuff, and she as in the chair next to him with one of his toy guns shooting the bad guys he was fighting

cuteness score off the charts!

Oh! So! Cute!

My son's been doing so well this year at school. I've always told him that if he wants to play Warcraft online, he's got to mature up a bit and also learn how to read and type better.

He's done all three. So I'm keeping my side of the deal. He's wanted this for years.

got my answer.

basically, when you convert to Battle.net, it HAS to be tied into a seperate E-mail for every account. You don't have to use it, but any e-mail that blizzard sends that account will got to that e-mail address.

so my main e-mail (my yahoo one) is my account, and tonight I will set my nerd-spawn up with my hotmail account as his login name.

not the answer I wanted, but it is a answer, which is better than that silly e-mail I got Saturday.

(Are we a WoW support group or what on here.)

:D

Does anyone here have an "in" with the creators of Diablo? Because I really am waiting for Diablo 3.

Oh, that's good. I just converted mine. Only minor meltdown when it took me a while to realize that creating a login and password online didn't just change my battlenet login, it affected the game. Kept trying to log in with the email address and the old password and was bummed for a bit until there was an aha.

Had I noticed your plight earlier, I would've said this. We converted our to battle.net accounts recently, and I had viv use a different address from the one her account is linked to. There were no problems at all.

I’m a role playing geek, I admit it; started with D&D years ago, still play. We use it as a Sunday afternoon family activity during the late fall and winter. I play in a regular group as well most Saturday nights.

As far as MMORPGs, not a huge fan. Played WoW and City of Heroes, wan’t at all impressed. Played tested Champions and was seriously disappointed; they dumbed down what should have been a PC friendly system (everything is a formula in the first place) and made it City of Heroes 2. I won’t be playing it.

Pirates of the Burning Sea is my MMORPG of choice. It’s graphics are stunning and the simulation of ship to ship combat rocks.

Welcome :)

Ooooh, I just noticed that Pirates of the Burning Sea is included in my Station accounts...

Does it have any trade skills? ;)
