Hah!

I got that yesterday. Two runs through the Isle of Conquest.

Though you could probably get it in Southshore too, PVPing folks dropping smoke bombs.

I'm in good shape. Finally got a mask this morning. I only need the squashling, one more wand zap and a few more pumpkin heads on a few races. I'll get more pumpkins tomorrow on the daily in Goldshire. I got a second hallowed helm from a treat bag. I'll save myself the aggravation of the headless run daily, so I'll just hang out at an innkeeper. So all my questions are answered, now it's just down to luck every hour.

Thanks guys!

i need the Hallowed Helm, do the battleground one, & right now I am visiting candy bins

quite possibly could be done today with it

Woo hoo!

That was fun as hell. And my other chars are all going to run around grabbing candy too. Fast easy exp and less to do when it's their turn.

I always like visiting Toshley Station.

"I'm on fire! AGAIN!"

hey Recidiva, be sure to loot the big glowy pumpkin in the towns where the Horseman is lighting the fires. It's a daily (blue !) & I just got a Sinister Squashling out of the goody bag you get from turning in the quest.

Yeah, I'm going to keep on doing the dailies too. That's where I got my second helm.

Go Go Gadget Squashling!

Back up band and mascot.

There is always a bustling trade in the major cities for the wands. People are usualy willing to trade one wanding for another. So, if you luck up and get a wand from 'trick or treat'ing at the inn keeper you can spam trade chat,

"Trading <insert name of your wand here> for <insert name of costume you need here> 4 charges left, meet me at IF/Org bank".

I did just that last year and got 'The Masquerade' in a little over 2 hours.

I would like to add, I love seeing things like this:

Does Halo count as being part of the gamer community? I've been playing Halo3 ODST with my husband for a couple of weeks. I have to admit, it's pretty fun. I get really worked up and nervous though and have to keep reminding myself that I'm not actually being shot at LOL

I loved Diablo and can't wait for the next one to come out...

I finally got my last wand zap by offering 20 gold for it.

Just like getting a port to Dalaran. It didn't work to ask for one, I had to say "I'm standing at the wizard tower in Stormwind. Paying 20 g for a port to Dalaran"

Of course it does!

Diablo was fun as hell. And my son has a Halo 3 poster on his wall.

Hail to the Master Chief!

n00b question time:

Why do so many people want ports to Dalaran?

I've not been outside Warsong Keep yet, though we are of level to do so. Outlands is still holding our interest really well. We're all 69 and most of the way through Nagrand right now. I will get through this zone before I leave Outlands at minimum, and I still want to work on Area 52 and Blade's edge Mountains too.

The main benefit to Dalaran is ports. If you bind in Dalaran, there are ports to all the same ports Shattrath has, AND a port to Shattrath.

Very convenient. You never have to reset your bind point again basically.

Also, the daily quests for fishing and cooking, both of which have nice benefits, are there. You can start those early.

Okay, I understand why people want to go there, but why the constant begging for ports? Why not just physically go there?

it's a central point just like Shath. easier to park all your toons there for the profession trainers, banks, and since you can now fly in Northrend at 68 (Heirloom book) it's a good place to set your hearth.

why people beg and beg for ports, that escapes me. I just asked my guildies

Do not ask me why they did this. It's a floating city. It's inaccessible by land until you're level 74 by a "port crystal" on the ground. If you're 74 you can go there by walking to the crystal under the city and porting yourself up. But that quest won't work until then.

The only way in is to be ported otherwise, as there's no flying until level 77 so you can't reach it that way either unless you already have a character that's got flying and another character that got the book.

If you're ported you can pick up the griffin spot and fly there later after you pick up all the other connecting flights. You can also use the crystal to get to the ground and back up, and you have access to it then.

I think it's a real stupid bottleneck to put on the city.

Ahh, okay. That makes sense. People ask for the port because they physically can't get there at their level. Thanks.

And, yeah, that does sound like an asinine bottleneck.

My guildies consist of several really cool people, none of whom have a level 72 wizard :)

Actually, now its that you can get coldweather flying at 70 now. So you can fly in Northrend at 70. Made questing stupid easy, even with a fatkid mount. Even the fatkid mount does 150% now. GG Blizz make it easy for every window licker to make it to 80 somehow and infiltrate my trade chat with mindless Anal banter.
*headdesk*

However 20g for a freakin port? Hell yeah Ill wander around making ports all day for that kind of gold. Usually on my mage i only get about 2-5g

Where can you train cold weather at 70?

You can fly at 68 if you have a level 77, but I dunno who to go to to buy the skill for a character first time through.

My druid is feeling the love, but my hunter had to schlepp.
