The time frame and fees are ridiculous and the economy is skewed and inflated because of it. Having to collect everything from your mailbox every 48 hours and put it back up for sale if it didn't sell (how much of a pain in the ass that is with 9 chars per realm is not to be spoken.) Not to mention if I don't make it back within a month on each character, I lose the mail entirely. So I have to log every character in on schedule. Even if I consolidate to one char selling, it's a lot of keeping track and losing track and not giving a damn anymore.

WoW doesn't really have an economy, at least not in any sense that can be reasonably compared to real life. It's more like a rudimentary barter system, unlike EVE which is more realistic because its economy is largely player-driven (among other reasons).

EVE bored the crap out of me. Not only do I NOT like PVP, I don't like staring at the side of a mineral-rich meteor for six hours. I did know that the economy was cool, but it was just too much heartache to get to it.

Ha! I felt the same way about EVE. At least with WoW I get to actually PLAY a game during my 2-4 hours of time I get a couple times a week.

Right, theres no place for a dedicated crafter in warcraft. There is a bunch of money to be made off jewelcrafting, but that is about it.

http://www.dransik.com/ <---- this was my first MMO, and it had the groundwork for a craft system that was fully developed in the next implementation of the game, ashenempires.

http://ashenempires.com/Screenshots.aspx (this game was INCREDIBLE for crafters)

I do like making my own stuff, but I'm always dirt poor in Warcraft, because there's always a stack of something expensive to make the next thing to get a crafting point. And I really do hate camping things forever. Stuff that kills me is my enchanter trying to make lower level enchantments for some of my other characters...especially weapon enchant items. If it's a good one, it's WAY too expensive. But I don't want to go farm the stuff myself. Hell no.

And I can't even manage to be well dressed (by game terms) because everything in a dungeon is better than crafted.

So it's better if I just stick to playing on my own.

I'm thinking about using my impending unemployment to grind an 80 or two. I want to do a warrior, but that was what I planned to do in Cataclysm. Hmm, might finish leveling my resto shaman or maybe even my warlock.

*Flops* My Persona 3 party can go through bosses like it's nothing.
But face a couple of normal enemies? Get spammed with spells that hit everyone into submission.

All motivation to play that game gone 'til the weekend. ;-;

My son LOVES those games. And inspired him to start to learn to speak Japanese.

You were thinking of something like "lern 2 play, n00b"?

lol Nah, something much more offensive than that.

I'm totally with you on the "How did you do that?" since past 75 or so takes about 7hrs per level. I guess with rested exp? But still alot of work and impressive.

I tend to make the rounds. I have a few console games I love replaying (Right now Oblivion and Alpha Centauri) and there's always Fable, Fable 2 and now Dragon Age Origins.

Then I tend to swap back and forth between Everquest 2 and Warcraft. When either one comes out with a new expansion.

I was sad when I went back to Dark Age of Camelot, the game's dead :(

I'm dying waiting for Fable 3..... *bouncebounce*
