Gas below $2/gal.

Well it would be £5.48 a gallon here so would be about £10 more to fill my tank.
So i guess it is actually worth it when you do the maths I guess

Shit for brains is claiming his local moonshine distillery is pumping out at $.50 less than the National average.

Why do they all lie so much?

There are definitely areas in some states where gas is 50 cents cheaper than the national average.

It all depends on the markets in those areas and promotions offered by the various local suppliers.

It's like five dollars and fifty cents per gallon in California, and nearly four dollars in Idaho. I'm pretty sure it is nowhere near $2.00 anywhere in the U.S. Interestingly, that $5.50 gas was purchased within 30 miles of a major refinery in Richmond, California. Idaho, not known for being a particularly "liberal" state, is nonetheless cheaper in Idaho despite being hundreds of miles from the nearest refinery (lower fuel taxes are among the main reasons) but that is still nowhere close to the alleged $2 per gallon.

I pay 2.39 when I am in NC, for premium.

Your local gas price is irrelevant. The Trump administration says the average price nationally is $3.015. Maybe some of the sheep are calling Trump a liar? No? I didn’t think so.

The price of gas bottomed out at $2.779 on January 12. It’s steadily gone up since.

In this part of virginia the taxes are so specific they apply to the different levels of premium. Its been at its lowest 3.10. This week the day before the one day bump war pricing I paid 3.99 for 93 since they didn't have 91. Which would have been 3.79. Way artificially high.

Gas is avg. $2.34 locally with some outlets as low as $2.20.
Hisarpy is resorting to lying, as usual, to promote his typical falsehoods.

No, wherever it is you live, it is pretty clear gas is NOT $2.34 locally.

Unless you live in Saudi Arabia or Dubai? (Given your admiration for the Saudi style of government that would explain a lot if it is true)
