As a society we think that sexuality can be lumped into these definite and very confining terms (straight, gay, bi, etc), and I think this mostly comes from our need for things to be black and white. Our society likes nice, little labels to plaster on ourselves so we can easily distinguish people. However as individuals I truly believe, like Cromsgirl stated, that sexuality is more of a scale.
