I am confused about the whole Marvel Universe. It’s very hard to follow. I liked the Iron Man movies and the first Avengers movie.

Same… there have been ones that seem interesting but then it all seems too complicated to follow.

I was wondering that… I really want to be able to watch Supernatural because it looks like it’s totally my thing in later seasons, but I’m such a wimp! I’ve seen 3 or 4 episodes and still have nightmares about a couple of scenes, a month+ later

I'm studying CS rn and I don't think I'll work in AI, but imo a lot of fears about AI destroying the world are overblown. As I understand it, AI nowadays is basically statistics and calculus to optimally extract information from data (especially Big Data). It's really important that we choose good objective functions and optimize for the right things - that's sort of the AI alignment problem that we always have to keep in mind - but we're not in Skynet territory here.

For a lot of people, the big personal risks with AI are things like privacy being violated or getting your face edited into porn, along with abuse by governments and big businesses like facial recognition in China. But not Skynet

Honestly? Just do the first 5. It's not even a bad spot to stop there if you want. That was the show's strongest run.

Honestly? Just do the first 5. It's not even a bad spot to stop there if you want. That was the show's strongest run.

See, I tend to do that. Watch a few seasons and stop when it’s obvious they jumped the shark

Yes. Looks interesting, even if it is basically a retread of Child’s Play meets Wes Craven’s Deadly Friend. Creepy little girls are, well, creepy.

My ex subscribed to Entertainment Weekly..I grabbed the mail one day and Sam and Dean were on the cover..I flipped thru it real fast and in the center was an ad with sound that when the magazine was opened to that page, the car engine would rev...scared the shit out of me..dropped the mail in the driveway..lol

You can stop at the end of season 5 and be perfectly fulfilled. That’s where it was supposed to end. But you know, everything has to be milked to death these days.
