A lovely good morning to one and all.

Had a very long week and a late night. So I slept in to awaken to a most beautiful clear, crisp morning. Cold early but warming nicely with not a cloud to be found!

Jay.... what type of truck?? 2000 F-150 here.. LOL..well.. going to the gym is my only hobby... at least until softball season.. then I am usually playing on 2 - 3 teams.

I was going to post a pic from the beach...but since none of the ladies seem interested.. why bother.. LOL

Hi All

Just got home from class and grocery shopping. Had a long weekend but it went relatively smooth. May have pulled an A out of this class. One more and classes are DONE!

I would like to say that one day soon dinner is on me. Just got myself a Rotisserie cooker for my Anniversary. Now all I have to do is put it together and get it going. Going to try a roast. Will let you know how it turns out later this week. Will ty and pop in again later, but till then....have a good one!

Sundays are usually lazy for us but today has been anything but. Been putting tile down on the kitchen floor(actually was hubby's job, I just supervised) And washing clothes! DC, glad to know there's another hunter in the group. Our 12 year old got his first one a couple of weeks ago. His 10 year old sister could have had a doe from 15yds but she wanted a bigbuck!

AS for pictures. We tried to get some but setting the timer and trying to get in position was just too much. THEY SUCKED. We have invited a friend over to help us out and should have them by tommorrow

As for the hunting, it is true. My daughter is 11 and really itching to go. Been taking her older brother (now 13) for several years and this is her year to go. We have just been so busy. And it seems like there is always a schedule conflict with one of us. Maybe over Christmas.

But there is nothing better than a little back strap. Unless of course, it is sausage. Or jerky. Or... You know what I'm talking about.

Cannot wait to see the pics. How I wish I had neighbors like you that needed a little photography assistance!

Dressing a two year old? How about an 7 or 9 year old? When my daughter was younger and in elementary school (she is 11 now), I would cringe whenever the wife was out of town and I had to get my daughter ready for school. The whole frilly socks and bows in the hair thing just baffled the shit out of me. Of course, all the help I got back then was my daughter telling me I was doing it all wrong! Then there would be hell to pay when I would just send her to school in jeans and t-shirt.

What the hell did I know? Not much obviously. Thankfully, she is older now and dresses herself without any help needed from me. Which is good thing. For her and for me.

The good news is, she is a great girl and does not seem to be too tramatized by the experiences when she was younger.
