Hope everyone has a great day and stays warm. We have ice and cold temps here. High today is only going to be only in the low 40's.

That weather sucks!

Is is very dry here so it gets cool overnight (down into the upper 30s to low 40s) but is is dry and no wind so it just feels crisp till the sun comes up. Then it warms quickly rising up to the mid to upper 60s every day.

And that is our forecast for the next 5-7 days!!!

Perfect camping weather which I am looking forward to. Leaving early tomorrow morning for 4 days in the woods. It will be quiet and relaxing. No phones. No traffic. No Christmas shopping. No crouds. No fast food.

Anyone care to join me???

Hey everyone! Today has definitley been an improvement on yesterday. TGIF! I hope everyone is having a wonderful Friday. I will probably be on here all night. My son is still sick. And my in laws had a car accident last night(they are fine) which means I don't get a free night tonight. But at least everyone is ok. Anyone have any big plans for the weekend? I will check in later. Everyone stay warm and stay out of this wind!

since my job is a 24/7 job,we take turns getting holidays off. I had thanksgiving this year,and was my turn for working christmas. I got a surprise this week we have a girl who works just weekends as she goes to school full time at Troy state,anyway she told me last night that she had no plans for the holidays,and had talked to the staffing cordnitor who oked it for her to work for me christmas eve night,and christmas night. I was STUNNED. She told me that she has no kids and would rather work,and was eating at her moms so no meal or nothing to fix,and felt that i would enjoy being home with my family. belive me she got a huge hug and is getting a big gift box of home made goodies. it goes to show no matter how the world looks sometime there is still good out there

silver sounds like you are having a great holiday season.

I have lots to do tonight and will be leaving early in the morning, I want to take this opportunity to wish everyone a wonderful holiday and a very merry Christmas. I will likely be out until Christmas eve at the earliest.
