Man is it COLD outside!!! What happened to the 70 degree weather from this past weekend. Now...calling for snow up here within the next few days. No wonder everyone is sick around here. I'm sure it's "warm" down-home...right? At least a couple of degrees warmer. If not...at least the postings make one feel warm at heart.

Y'all have a good day and stay warm...stay in bed under the covers with a loved one...or love the one your with (as the saying goes!)

Yeah...I'm like you...whoever will have me and I can't be too picky about it either. Especially on a day like today. I know you have the warm gulf breezes blowing in and making it just a lovely day down there. I know in Albany (where I'm from) if should be a nice balmy...what...about 50 or so today. It was down in the teens, with wind-chill below zero last night and think the same tonight.

Oh well...would love to be "home", but that's how it goes. Keep up the good work of sending out all the "warm hearted" messages and let my mind play tricks on me of being warm, while my toes tell me its freezing.

Get a "helping" hand involved. Sure someone would be glad to be at your beckoning call to bend at your knees to help. Maybe even rub the feet to warm them up before putting the socks on...

I am seriously considering calling in and just staying in my warm cozy bed because it is TOO COLD. But I am going to be gone for a couple of days so I guess that is out of the question. ~ SIGH~ I want the warm weather back! Guess I better get my but in gear and get ready for work.

Please remember to stay warm and wash your hands lots around people who are coughing and sneezing it is the best protection you have against getting sick. Will try and pop in tonight when I get home but until then have a great day even if it is a cold one.

Goodmorning everyone! I hope you guys are staying warm. It is too cold. And my snuggle partner has gone to work. Anyone care to fill in for him? I have been up since early this morning. I couldn't sleep. At least my son is amusing himself. He is three years old and he is watching the weather channel. I will be in and out today. And probably won't be on at all tonight. My grandmothers wake is tonight from 6 to 8. And her funeral is tomorrow is at 1. And I am sitting here wondering what I am going to tell my son. I have no choice but to take him with me. How do you explain to a three year old about death? Sorry. I am rambling now. Everyone have a wonderful day. Be safe.

Thanks Bama.... My mom was a nurse in a nursing home for many years until her stroke two years ago. I have a great respect for anyone in any medical profession but espically the nursing profession. It takes special people to become nurses.
