Georgia Girl

Hello Richard,

Not to cool here in the south, perfect weather in fact. The sun is shining, few clouds, light breeze, air is crisp but not cold. I hope things warm up for you or you find that snuggle bunny you need.

Where's Halo been lately? Have you seen her GG?

Hello love and a happy Easter to you.

How are the flowers looking out your window today? Today is a day for quiet sensual pleasures shared with someone special.

Dawn

The flowers look great in the rain. The white pear blossoms look like a small spot of sunshine on a gloomy day.

I agree with you on the snuggling. Does the dog being wrapped around my feet while I pay bills count?

How about you?

Are you next door, its raining here as well. The dogwoods and red tips are beautiful and the rain falling on the pond out my front window is beautiful.

If I let the cat come indoors he would snuggle with me but it is not a cat I want, unless it were to be a big cat.

Dawn

Lol on the big cat.

I've got a TV in my study, on top of the lateral file cabinets. The TV is kind of in the corner, near the three windows. On PBS, Gene Kelly is singing and dancing through "singing in the rain" at this second. Wouldn't it be nice to be sitting on a couch with a blanket and watch/listen to "singing in the rain?". It's kinda funny cause in the windows next to the TV, the rain is coming down just as hard, it's like the TV is just another window.

Shame on you laughing at the big cat, I rather enjoyed him.

Yes that would be quite nice indeed. Might I have coffee while we watched? Could we watch Topper next?

Dawn

It was a playful laugh, one of common understanding of a pleasant event. :)

I'm popping on and off Lit between paying bills, balancing the checkbook, and doing taxes today. I seem to be averaging a break every hour and a half or so.

Coffee is good. Topper sounds great too. I love old movies. What are your favorites?

Cats are wondeful

I have two cats ...though to them I am just a human can opener
to me they brighten up my life and often are my only cuddle bunnies

Topper is my absolute favorite. No matter what that movie can always make me laugh.

Coffee is in fact wonderful, dreary days seem to call for coffee, hot chocolate or hot tea just for the comfort factor. I have a thing for my comfort items, my quilt my grandmother made which stays on the back of the couch is one of my favorites.

Cats are wonderful but I don't snuggle with mine. He and I have an understanding, I'm allergic to him, he stays outside and I keep in well supplied in catnip, hence the understanding, when I fail to deliver on the catnip he runs in the house.

See if you can maintain a good schedule and would you do my taxes too please? Thank you. Meow.

I'm allergic to cats too. I have one though, same as you. She lives outside most of the time unless it gets really cold. She hasn't been showing up much since the puppy arrived though.

I went to a wedding up in the mountains. When I got back from the rehersal dinner (bed and breakfast), there she was about 4 inches long purring at the front door. I stood there and watched and she practically crawled inside my pants leg in an effort to get close to me and get warm. I played with her for about 20 minutes and then went in and sneezed the rest of the night.

The next morning I saw the owners at breakfast and told them what a cute kitten they had. They said, "nope, it's a stray that someone dumped in the field next door, we been putting out milk for her and her two sisters". We looked for the sisters, but couldn't find them. That night, late, after the wedding, I came home and the kitten was waiting for me.

In the morning we talked again about the kittens. The owners said "You might was well take her, she's gonna probably die if you don't". So I brought her home. She's a little sweetie, but every time I touch her I've got to wash my hands real thoroughly.

I think one of the neighbors adopted her though. I see her climbing on the fence now and then, but she doesn't come near the "dogs" area near the back porch. She seems to be healthy enough though.

Good night.

Taxes are UGLY!

It still stupifies me on how much I gotta pay every year. Ugggh! You don't want me to do your taxes. I have an IRS beacon on my head! It says "Come and get it!" And they certainly do.
