Germany online thread on Lit BB

I have made my abitur this year, never really know what this is in english I think final examination.

Now I train to be an CTA, just in case I will not found a job later in other areas. Then I have to make my civilian service and later on I will study, then I will get out of this city. I will hope so...

That aprenticeship (CTA = chemical technical assistent, right ?) will probably offer you some further chances I guess. What are you going to study ? Any ideas so far ?

btw - "Abitur" is high-school graduation.

Gawd - I had Abitur in 1979, before you were born. Now I feel old.

Rex :rose:

Yes it is chemical technical assistent, what I will study? mhm..
Maybe something in the computer area, programming maybe, Germany has a problem in this area so i will have good chances, if they don´t solve this problem in the next 10 years. And I don´t believe in this...

And if I can´t get a job here as a programmer, the world is a big place.

high-school graduation, finaly.. thanks, everytime I try to explain it to somebody in english they never understand what I´m talking about. It is good to find an good english forum, I have to do more things in english

btw could it be that some people here react on the german lenguage like some others react on french, only a thougt

I personally think that the entire computer industry is an ongoing process and that means every time is a good time to join.

Yep - the world has a lot of space for those who aren't chicken to go for their opportunities and leave the good old known.
If i was you I'd look for some Uni's that have exchange programs. And at least you can even study in a foreign country. Your english skills are good enough I guess. And this forum can be a good place to paractice.

I never had to complain about my german language here. You really think so ?
I for one think it's an advantage to be considered "exotic" in the eyes of some ladies/guys. (I'm more into ladies to be exact)

Rex :rose:

I´m also more into ladies, too (or should I say only in ladies)

german is also good for some laughter, and it sounds exotic too
wondering why there are always these funny "mad-german-scientists" in english movies

the last year I´ve read a lot of posts here at lit, It must be some kind of addiction :)
and I have found a lot of interesting (and exotic, from my point of view) personalitys here, so this here is more interesting and exotic then everything around my hometown.

God/des bless the flatrates

Thank God we cleared that. Don't want to get too intimate with a faggot

Some people claim german the language of the great minds, poets and philosophers.... but it's not that easy to follow the fine sarcasms and hidden jokes by playing with words in a foreign language.
Just imagine a non-german trying to understand Harald Schmidt, Stefan Raab or my favorites Michael Mittermaier and Bully.
I consider myself pretty good in english, but sometimes i can hardly follow David Latterman or Jay "the chin" Leno.
You've ever seen Monthy Pythons original shows ? Not easy to understand all their british humor.

And sure thing we got some very interesting personalities here...
and trust me I know something about addiction.
So leave your hometown every now and then, by flatrate or by car and go for the fun. Live is too short.

Darling, you want me to change my av ?

Rex :rose:

"Have i told you lately that I love you ?")

Don't change a thing:p

...and you can tell me again and again....

I love you:heart: :rose:

(What's flatrate? .....and I need to give you a lesson in American pc.......)

ok - good to know I don't need to change

Your internet provider bills you call-by-call (based on minutes or seconds online) or by a monthly fix flatrate (with an endless access). For us addicted surfers a flatrate is much better.

Now what does PC stands for in this case ?

Rex :rose:

Flatrate, yeah, the way to go for Lit addicts.

PC...depends what kind of lesson your in the mood for....

You know I like to privately tutor......

I´m interested in one translation thing,
sexual orientation: straight

It is "geradling"(straight) like a straight line, but what exactly it means in this special case of sexual orientation.
I think it is just something like hetero, but slang.
Good, I think it sounds better but are there other meanings as well.

everytime these little problems with slang, you never learn something like that in school

I love english comedians, do you know eddi izzard, something like michael mittermeier in germany. And Monthy Python, I have seen the movies in english. I love it, it is a lot better then in german.
Latterman and Leno, we just copy the idea of their shows, Harald Schmidt for example but he does a great job so i like him too

You got that straight thing right.
Straight (=geradlinig, geradeaus) means men interested in women and viceversa.
And you already know some "slang" expressions pretty well.
Most of them are "dirty talking" and some are just popular.
I for one find abbreviations like "4U" pretty funny unless i don't understand 'em. Not to speak of accents written here like "yo bro, wuzzup?" and it took some time to figure out what "gals" means.

So to learn that you gotta know a real person telling you. I don't consider school teachers real persons in this case. Plus the curriculum doesn't have "slang" I guess.

The most irritating part of conversation starts in the PMs or in the chatrooms, even here at the boards, when accents, abbriv's and "slang"terms are all mixed together with netiquettes and smilies. So I decided to spit it out when I don't understand anything. I have a loaded line that goes like "blame it on my rotten english, but..."

For some further details of the english/american english I have a link I use quite often:
bartleby.com
click the search arrow to open that dropdown list and see how many references they offer. Have fun discovering the language.

Btw. get yourself an online spouse. that helps a lot.

Aaah, darling, I hate those kind of misunderstandings, too. And me such a mixer in my words. But you know you can always ask me what anything means.

And, Lone One, if you have a Yankee slang question , I'll try to help you, too.

Ok, thanks for the link rex, it´s one of the best sites with word descriptions how it seems.

Thanks for the offering weed, If I have a question about yankeeslang and can´t found the words I will ask you

an online spouse, yes I think this would help
after some time you know what you have to write and what the words stand for if you write very much, better is talking to english/american people in reallife, but I have this possibility not very often how you could imagine

You're welcome Lone One.

Post away in threads like "abc..." or "something new and different" they are all about vocabulary and meanings".

Take part in each and every thread you like, post like hell and you might increase your language skills in no time.

By getting more and more comfy with the language it's getting better every time.
By doing so your virginal status disappears and your making new friends.
An avatar might help too. So get your 100th post and choose one.

hey buddy,

if you don't like your real life it's up to you to change it anyhow.

Life offers only one guarantee, if you don't win you loose. Hopefully you haven't lost self-confidence and self-esteem already. So there's no need to keep that actual status just because.
C'mon man, move your ass and take what you deserve.

And if you think you're going to be happy with an online relationship, go for it. But please don't confuse cyberspace with RL (real life).
Nothing beats the real deal and since there's blood running through your veins you need some real skin sooner or later.

Until then, take the fun you're looking for out of this thread, this board, Literotica or the entire internet. Nothing wrong with that, but be careful, cyberspace can be addictive.

Rex :rose:

If he keeps posting the way he has he'll find some "real" Lit friends here:)

Here's my morning kisses to your afternoon, baby:kiss:

I don´t think that I will ever confuse cyber with reallife, In the cyberworld I meet interesting people (especialy girls/woman in ´2 out of 3 times, reallife kicks me back to 1 in a hundred. (And this one girl has a boyfriend or is a lesbian, don´t meet anyone who is married at my age now :) )

Around me are only girls who either play "how fast can I lose my virginity/have sex with the next macho who appears on the horizon" (they are also not very smart, or should I say it isn´t much fun if you talking with them, also they don´t have a great potential of phantasie, one thing I love in girls/woman) or the girl of the type "don´t touch me" who are embarrassed or anger at the slightest point of sexual interest in them. Even the best compliments a gentleman could use works the worst way they could.

It´s funny that I had my best time with a bi-girl in her "no-man-allowed-phase", so there was nothing, just a really good friendship. !No-Man-Allowed!
One of the most interesting persons I meet in reallife, 1 in a hundred...

Btw. what is the feeling of real skin, the best I can remeber is that my hand accidantly hit a part of a girl, but first the part was covered by a pullover and not at the frontside, to be exact it was her shoulder.

Oh I forgot the hugs by my bi-girl friend, better than nothing

I schould leave my hometown more often

"2 out of 3" vs "1 out of 100" ??
that RL ratio tells it all - you need to go where the fun is.

Hey buddy, move your ass and take what you deserve, the more attempts the merrier, the ratio will change pretty soon to the better.

I somehow feel, you maybe need to change your attitude (no pun intend). Not that you have to change the gentleman into a macho who starts like "nice shoes, wanna fuck?". I bet there's a nice girl out there appreciating you just the way you are. But please get rid of that "Looser" self image.

Life is to short to pout.

Do I sound like good ole daddy ? Hopefully not...

and by the way: I know exactly what you're talking about, been there, hated it, but I somehow managed to overcome the blues...

Rex :rose:

trust me, the world is waiting for you, and the Ladies out there are waiting for us good guys

Good morning Germany!!!
