As the ol' sayin' goes, there are other fish in the sea. It would have been nice if the ad had been a little more complete and saved you the trip. I hope that the drive was nice, at least.

My drive for my old car visit was very pleasant and scenic.

It was about 750 miles or so from LA to Chico. My day started at 3am with misty fog and at the property it was 95* up in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mtns.

The trip has to go through Sac-a-tomatoes which was a parking lot on the homeward southbound half of the trip. I ended up having to take the longer of the 2 routes (Interstate 5 south is about 10 miles longer than hwy 99 south and nowhere near as scenic) but I dealt with it.

Long trip, few bladder stops, donuts/cookies/pop tarts and coffee for food. I lost 3 lbs from the experience, not to mention the lost sleep.

The agent is now trying to tell me this morning that his pig in a poke is worth over $200K when rebuilt. Turnkey comps in the area are selling for less than the 120K minimum the seller wants.

I will look elsewhere.

Should of kept going to Redding. <shrug>

Redding is worse. Higher prices and there's the temple proselytizers on top of that.

Not to mention the crime, higher temps than the Sierra foothills, and really crappy air quality.

No thanks. If I want that I'll stop in Bakersfield.

...and now you've made a tribute thread for an overt racist. With the three premier overt racists on the PB (busybody, HisArpy and Wat) immediately jumping in to help.

Talk about vindication for us libs. Thanks for the gift, Bert.

Not the least bit interesting. Lol. :)

Sad, used to be a nice place. And off course no one in their right mind would live in CA's 'well managed' forest areas.
