God, I need some passion…

I live for life and the enjoying of it. I live to experience new things. I find it incredible to meet new people and learn from them. I am passionate about living life to its fullest. I am sure that this will one day lead to my downfall but until then I will attempt to enjoy and learn from everything I experience.

Sometimes passion isn't all about doing, sometimes it is about just sitting there and seeing.

Exactly. There is the possibility of passion in everything and everyone. One day it will just simply reach out and grab your heart and leave you breathless.

I'm now passionate about food and wine.

How sad can you get?

Sunday dinner:
Roast lamb liberally roasted with rosemary and mint and a half bottle of red wine.
Roast potatoes and sweet potatoes.
Baby leeks, boiled.
Baby cabbage, boiled.
Sweetcorn and peas.
Stumpy! carrots cooked in butter and brown sugar.
Yorkshire pudding: I know, but the kids love them.
Minted gravy and mint sauce.
Served with a Chilean merlot.

Fresh fruit salad in homemade light syrup with cointreau.
Baby pineapples, kiwi (6), peaches, passion fruit, mango and a squeeze of lime.
Served with Bertolli Black Noble: more port like than a dessert wine, but delicious nevertheless.

Cappuccino (Levazza Espresso) served with Taylor's Late Bottled Vintage 1998.

I'm stuffed and satisfied. :D

Leeks rule. I braise them in chicken stock.

Passions are great because they give you a break from thinking about yourself. I'm convinced that being able to stop thinking about yourself is the key to long life. That's why people who are passionate about their work live so long, because they don't spend all that time thinking about themselves. That's why people meditate too.

Artichokes are great too.

Not too keen on artichokes.

I'll give the chicken stock a try tomorrow.(Leftovers!) :p
