A slut is not someone who lets anyone fuck her unless she is also an idiot. I consider myself a slut. Most would say I am promiscuous. That means I don't artificially limit the number of men I engage with sexually. It doesn't mean I have no standards or will fuck someone I don't find attractive.

I have always been sexually attracted to sluts. To me it makes all the sense in the world - if you desire women who are interested in sex it is only logical to focus on those that engage in sex enthusiastically. Obviously there are many motivations for engaging in sex (not all positive) and high sex drive doesn't preclude a woman from wanting to be monogamous and low key. But on balance sluts project a clear interest in sex and an unabashed embrace of that desire.

Meanwhile the premise that sluts will fuck anybody is beyond stupid. If all aspects of gender relations could be reversed I expect many men (especially those of us on Lit) would be regarded as sluts. Most of the women I have known who are sluts are very much in demand among men. They have no need to date down from their own level of attractiveness. There will be some men who shun them because of their sexual promiscuity, but plenty that won't. If a slut is an '8' she won't need to date men less attractive to get what she wants. As Whispor said, many of the sluts I have known have been out of league and they know it. As long as they aren't unpleasant about it - and they were generally less likely to be so than other attractive women - I find that very attractive.

Final thought - a lot of us cannot easily identify a slut. We have convinced ourselves that women who dress or behave a certain way are sluts, which is not necessarily true unless that behaviour is actually promiscuous sex. Meanwhile we imagine that women who don't dress or behave a certain way are not sluts. Also not necessarily true. My wife is a perfect example. She is quite promiscuous and would be defined by most who know her as a slut. Yet, while she does know how to dress to accentuate her assets she is discrete and discerning. I think she is a '10'.
