I DO live in Kansas City. The city is on the state line of Missouri and Kansas. I live on the KANSAS side. Kansas City, KANSAS. Didn't you know? All the cool people live on the Kansas side.

I sometimes correct myself from doing it. Maybe because I've read alot of British authors? I'll write "colour" or something similar and then have to go back, catch myself, and take out the "u."

I live in Hawaii, so it's GOT to be a habit picked up from reading.

Hawaii has two Us. There is a double U in the middle.

Actually, it would be more correct to change it to a "v" especially since the correct pronunciation is "Havai'i" not "Hawaii." But that's getting a little complicated for you haole people.
