lets see.... 17 or 18 of the worlds top 20 deadliest snakes call Aust home..... and the worlds deadliest spider lives here too..... lol... ok...thats it...i'm moving somewhere ....safe!!!!! a deserted desert island should do the trick!!!!

Oh Lord! well I wouldnt sleep well at all in a country with all those snakes!! ... How does one counrty get so many dangerous snakes? spiders I can understand they for some reason travel in all sorts of ways to new climates etc.

Yes I do agree, Aussies are a very fine Lot of folks, I rather like them myself, always know where you stand with them for the most part, they don't seem to play all the same games that some do.... LOL well some do, but for the most part they have been some of the most wonderful people I have met here at Lit.

I see a few during the warmer months ( i live near the mountain ranges of the east coast.... ) right now they are coming out of hibernation...so they are a little active now... but nothing to worry about.... just another part of the scenery!!!

~giggles~ well if ever I managed to get to Visit, there is so many places and people to meet, I doubt I would want to spend all my time in the cities.. Its such a lovely country.. rather amazes me at times how large and diffrent it is... YES I guess the US is the same way, but somehow it doesnt intrest me the same.. we have so many cities everywhere you go anymore, I rather like the countryside and the small towns.

I will need to study the hibernation of snakes first I guess, active wouldnt be good for me, I can see the headline now
