The details on the red cities in red states are too much verity for him to face up to. Safer for his feels this way and it's probably easier on his blood pressure. You focus on blue cities too much. Give us the details on the red ones.
Interesting how people say that there's too much crime in Chicago and then post that everyone there including schoolkids should have guns.
So often i see the argument as made above - that the guns arent the problem, its the massive underresourcing of the mental healthcare provision that is the problem.
I get that, I do.
What i dont get is how anyone with reason can look at the state of the mental healthcare in the US, see the number of people that clearly have mental illness, and then come up with..
I know - lets arm them.....
https://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-new...ng-obama-era-gun-checks-people-mental-n727221NO ONE advocates arming the mentally ill. That you seem to believe it only proves that you're listening to the wrong sources when it comes to guns and crime.
You should try to rectify that.
President Donald Trump quietly signed a bill into law Tuesday rolling back an Obama-era regulation that made it harder for people with mental illnesses to purchase a gun.
The rule, which was finalized in December, added people receiving Social Security checks for mental illnesses and people deemed unfit to handle their own financial affairs to the national background check database.
Had the rule fully taken effect, the Obama administration predicted it would have added about 75,000 names to that database.
That's a fake philosophy invented by the NRA to encourage dupes to purchase more guns. Strangely, it only works in the US; in every other country (i.e. those without the NRA bribing the politicians) when they wish to cut gun crime they make it harder to obtain guns. You do understand the philosophy that when only criminals have guns everyone else is their victim, yes?
And that when those victims arm themselves criminals look elsewhere for easier targets, yes?
Or do you just stuff your head up your ass when it comes to guns because you like the full feeling you get from it and that's what makes you say the idiotic things you post?
You are so funking dumb you don't recognise irony?]NO ONE advocates arming the mentally ill. That you seem to believe it only proves that you're listening to the wrong sources when it comes to guns and crime.

Most mass shootings are carried out with relatively high-powered assault rifles. It's not to say you could not accomplish a high death toll with a more reasonable self protection hand gun, but it certainly becomes a bit more challenging. To my knowledge only three nations have a constitutionally protected right to bear arms. The other two are Mexico and Guatemala. Not surprising two nations that also have a problem with firearms violence. Why do most mass shootings in schools happen in America? Why do we never hear of mass school shootings in North Korea or Cuba?
Is the American social forces insane?

If a law isn’t 100% effective, is it pointless? And yet somehow those places STILL have gun violence. Who knew that getting rids of guns would mean that guns would still be there?
It's like you think criminals obey the law. Oh wait, that was you who said that, wasn't it?
Shade of BoBo!If a law isn’t 100% effective, is it pointless?
There are lots of laws that aren’t 100% effective.
Lol. He's a lawyer. Lol.If a law isn’t 100% effective, is it pointless?

More Red state carnage

Again, blue states are statistically far safer:

Beware of the numbers pushed by GOP and NRA shills. One of their favorite things to do is to quote numbers out of population context. They will often call out CA and NY as being more dangerous because the total numbers of deaths by firearms are higher in places with higher populations - those numbers are important for the allocation of resources, but they don’t give accurate figures on who is more likely to be victimized.
People in Red states are statistically more likely to perpetrate and to be victimized by gun violence.
As usual, 1/4 of the truth and all of the lies.
BTW, I still haven't gotten a good answer on why banning guns doesn't work to stop gun violence but you're all in on banning guns anyway.
Oh? What information would you like to cherry pick and spin to support your argument?
Are factual statistics too partisan for you?
Banning certain guns will cut down on lunatics massacring innocents. As usual, 1/4 of the truth and all of the lies.

Banning guns reduces gun violence. If it only cuts it to 20% of what we have now, I’m okay with that.Ok, here's a point you seemed to miss...
If banning guns has been proven to not stop gun violence, then why do you insist on believing that banning guns will stop gun violence?
Are you stupid? Addicted to the political swill you've been swallowing? What?
I ask because anyone who actually took a look around would understand that your ideas DO NOT WORK. So why do you insist on repeating the failures of those who tried it already?
The only rational answer is that you're either stupid or addicted to the political swill you've been swallowing because a reasonable person does not repeat failure and call it a success.
