Guys Don't Make Passes . . .

I'm happy to see you pop in, Camille. Who's this "old gal" you're referring to, did someone hijack your username and password? ;)

A  and a :rose: for a very lovely, sexy lady.

For some reason "pining" just made me think of this:

So close your eyes
You can close your eyes, it's all right
I don't know no love songs
And I can't sing the blues anymore
But I can sing this song
And you can sing this song
When I'm gone

Can anyone name that tune, WITHOUT googling for it?

I don't flirt, I just tell it like it is, and from where I'm seeing it, you are the sexiest woman on Lit right now, with an enchanting smile and entrancing ways... :rose:

And if you fall for it, I'm happy to catch you in my arms (but you've always known that  )

HA!

I'm "mature" which I think to most guys is anyone over 30. I'm not geriatric yet, but I've hit an "over the hill balloon" b-day.

Yes, I must confess: I have been ignoring my thread. But that doesn't mean I haven't appreciated all the kind words that have been left while I have been neglectful. All of you who stop by to visit have been wonderful and kind to this old gal.

I'm not sure I'm going to be posting any pics in the near future. For personal reasons, I'm even toying with the idea of deleting the ones that I have on here now. I just haven't made up my mind yet.

Just know, I always get a kick out of all the comments left, even if I haven't replied.

*kisses for all*

Surf1,

don't make me tap the sign.

(just kidding)

I think I heard that on the radio recently - is it James Taylor? No idea what the song is, but I just got the voice in my head...

For heaven's sake, woman, your age doesn't really matter! You are gorgeous. I'm 42, and, if I recall correctly, you're somewhere thereabouts. So celebrate your wonderful beauty and accumulated wisdom :)

Over the hill, indeed!

!ding ding ding ding!

Yup. It's James Taylor. "You Can Close Your Eyes."

For some reason, I got this in my head and now I'll be singing it all night. At least it finally replaced the other song I was singing since work and now can't remember. Gawd, now THAT will bother me until I remember it. (gosh, I'm rambling.)

Well, I'm sort of being tongue in cheek about the "mature" thing. I recall there being more than one instance in my past Lit experience of posters asking to see pics of "mature" women and when asked, stating that mature was anyone over 30. I suppose maturity is relative.

Hell, I ain't got no accumlated wisdom.

Well, I'm 42, as I say, and I'm immature :D :D :D

Life works better that way ;)

Youtube is fantastic--as long as you know what you want. I've found some amazing stuff there.

Any other "firsts" you might need help with? ;)

I remembered the first song I was singing today (well singing as best I could)! Now I can go to bed worry free.

"Dream On" by Aerosmith!

I just thought y'all might want to know about this for some reason. :D
