Curt
I returned to you and let you know that the guys were getting ready to go out shortly, and that they'd drop us off. I was much more at ease now, but still felt just a slight tinge of anxiety. It seemed like as long as I could remember, mom could read me like a book. I just hoped that if she sensed anything different, that what was really going on between Rick and myself would be the farthest thing from her mind.
I stepped into your arms again, my favorite place, and pressed my cheek into your neck. "Damn..you smell so good Rick. Not that I've never noticed, because of course I have. You just...seem to smell even better than ever now. God, you're so sexy. I better stop before I get carried away, huh.." I let go and asked if you were ready. I knew I wasn't going to get more ready that I was..We left the guest bedroom and went into the frontroom where Eric and Jesse were pulling on their shoes. Jesse looked up and said something about so you guys are gonna come out to your parents huh..He said it with a smile, and we both knew he was kidding, but it wasn't all that funny at that point. He saw our lack of amusement and apologised, reassuring us he was kidding and didn't mean to sound like a dick.
Rick slapped his shoulder lightly and said, "No prob, Jesse. But we both feel kinda weird about it." Then he continued, saying he was sure everything would go smoothly, and if they wanted, they could meet us up there for a couple drinks later.
Eric spoke up and said, "What? Me, in a straight bar? No way dudes...That's just not my style!" We all laughed at his animated exclaimation, and I told him yeah he'd better stay away, they'd be able to tell right away that he was in the wrong place. Then he did what must've been his best flamer impression and said with a lisp, "Oh, sthpeak for yoursthelf, sthweetie." It was too funny when he did that. It definetly did not go with his personality. Thankfully.
We all went down to where the driver waited for us in, holding the door open to the black limo as we piled in. I heard Eric say, a bit dissapointed, "Aw, I thought we'd go in the Mustang.." Then Jesse reminded him that there were no back seats in the Mustang. Doh! Jesse and Eric both opened a beer when we began to pull away from the curb, and offered us one too. I declined, leaving Rick to decide if he wanted one or not. It wasn't a long drive, and I did not want to be buzzed at all when we got there. Even if it would probably relax me, which is exactly what Eric pointed out. "Ah, you're probably right, man. Ok, I'll take one." What a sucker..I took a couple good sized swallows of the cold beer and realized how great that tasted..
