She watched him stop and as he told her she nodded happily. "I know Severus, I wouldn't do that any way. We are friends in the eyes of staff, and we are professional in front of the kids. I got this don't worry about it, well try not to" She squeezed his hand lovingly then let his hand go. "I am good at secrets you of all people should know that" She grinned and opened up the door and headed inside.

Thankfully, they weren't late this time. They were right on time. "Ah, greetings Severus and Emily." Abus said. They returned the greetings, and sat at their assigned seats. Severus filled his plate with chicken, salad, bread, steak, and mashed potatoes. He then waited for someone to strike up a conversation.

She smiled at Albus and sat down, she watched how much food Severus picked up. She was glad he wasn't afraid to eat, she knew someone needed to strike up a conversation. So taking a deep breath she decided to start it, she just hoped she didn't suck at it. "Well Severus has given me the grand tour of your school it's very beautiful, a lot of history here" She said looking at Albus, though she had no idea what to call him. She didn't call him Albus since she didn't know him, headmaster maybe? She figured she would figure it out.

"Yes, the school is a historical site." he replied, noticing her loss of words for how to address him. "When speaking o me privately Emily, you may call me Albus. In front of students, call me Dumbledore." he informed her. Severus listened intently, trying to make as little noise as possible while eating.

She smiled at him and nodded "I noticed the school crest I read the Latin under it Draco dormiens nunquam titillandus." She said pronouncing it correctly. "Now my Latin is very rusty but it means Never Tickle a Sleeping Dragon I believe?" She said looking at Albus, hoping she was right. Since she would feel stupid if she got it wrong.

"Yes, you are indeed correct." he replied. He took a bite out f his food, and fell silent once again. Hagrid started a new conversation. "So, how you like being an assistant?" he asked Emily.

She smiled at Albus and was thankful that she was right, looking at Hagrid she gave him a very friendly glance. "So far it's going very well, though once the students come back it will be a real test of my ability. But I'm not worried about my job I know I'll do it extremely well. But I know I have things to learn still, but I love learning new things. Only thing I have to wait and see about is how the kids take to me, since I'm not that much older then they are."

She said with a happy look on her face "Since I know some words mean something totally different in England, though being friends with Severus Ive got that down well. I'm just very eager to really start my job."

"Well, we are all glad you could join us here at Hogwarts. We hope you enjoy working here." Hagrid replied. Severus grabbed his goblet, filled with wine, and raised it. "Cheers everybody!" he toasted. "Cheers!" everyone said back. They all clanked goblets and drank the wine.

She smiled at Hagrid and nodded "I'm sure I will" She said very happily. She picked up her goblet and cheered everyone as well, thankfully in this neck of the woods drinking age was eighteen. Sipping her wine silently she sighed a bit silently as she continued to eat, knowing she ate for two now.

Once again, the rest of the meal was silent, except for some gossip and such. Once the meal ended, Severus walked over to Emily. "You okay? Any pains or stuff like that? In fact, you should be lying down. Come on, let's go to my room. You can lie down there." He grabbed her hand and walked her to his room.

She watched as he walked up to her once the meal was over, she smiled at him and when he asked if she was hurting she shook her head. Smiling as he took her hand and she followed him. "I'm fine Severus really, not that I'm complaining but its only been two weeks" She said with a bright smile.

Severus opened the door for Emiy, and once they entered closed it behind him. "Emily, rest on my bed. You shouldn't be standing." he told her. He knew he was fretting over her, but after how his last love ended up, he wasn't going to take any chances.

She heard what he said and with her back facing Severus she rolled her eyes, but she was very happy he fretted over her. Meant the world to have someone love her like this, she slipped out of her shoes and laid down on her bed and yawned some. She reached out to him.

He sat down next to her, letting him grab him. "You know I am only worrying so much because I love you and want to protect you, right?" he asked. Before she could answer, he leaned forward and kissed her.

She looked up at him a kind smile on her face, but before she could answer him. Feeling his lips against hers, she returned the kiss lovingly and deeply. She ran her gentle fingers into his black hair, she knew that there life would be very hard now but it would be worth living.

Now that Emily was pregnant, they couldn't have sex. Severus knew that. He knew it would get tough eventually, but he didn't care. As long as Emily was with him, life was good. He continued kissing her, and reached for her shirt by instinct. Before he got started, however, he stopped himself before he could. He broke the kiss.

 

[Mayu]

She moaned softly into the kiss, and felt how he reached for her shirt but stopped himself. And at the same moment he stopped kissing her, she grew very confused about this. "Severus is something wrong?" She questioned, she had to admit she had a lot to learn but she needed him to explain, though she wasn't upset just a bit confused.

"I am sorry, but when I kiss you, I get tempted to have sex with you, and since you are pregnant, we can't have sex." he explained. Severus was gad he stopped himself when he did, or else they really would've had sex.

She sat up on her elbows and looked at him "I know there is more to a relationship then just sex but why do we have to stop because I'm pregnant? I mean women have sex while they are eight months pregnant, not that id be able to" She chuckled. "But I will respect what ever you want"

"No, it's just that in the muggle world I learned tat having sex during pregnancy might damage the child. I don't want to take a chance." he told her. "Why don't we watch something? I bought a computer whie in Ametica, and have learned about some grat videos."

She was glad that he explained it to her and nodding to him kissing him lovingly and stroked his cheek. Hearing that he bought a computer in America she smiled "Yeah sure, what did you get? I never thought id ever see you with a computer" She giggled. "Guess my American ways is rubbing off on you."

"Well, believe it or not, there's this website called YouTube. It is amazing. People can put their own videos own it. Revolutionary. The videos I found are 'Threw it in the ground', 'Ebay Song', 'The great office war', and 'Bear fight'. Wanna watch them?" he asked.

She smiled "Yeah I know that site, ive posted up some videos of my songs on there" She said with a happy look on her face. "Sure let's watch the great office wars first" Emily said as she rested back in the bed and got rather comfortable.

"You write songs? Interesting, never knew that." he said whie searching the great office wars. "Well, here it is. Let's let it load first." He looked to Emily and held her hand. He looked lovingly in her eyes. "You know, you are 18 years younger than e, and yet here we are, in a. Relationship. Who would've thought, huh?"

She chuckled looking at him and nodded "Well age doesn't matter when it comes to falling in love, I can't help but wonder what would have happened if we never met. I don't know what got you to take a holiday in America but I'm glad."
