HALLOWEEN'S Haven of Horror Hotties

Agreed. Plus, the fact that Roy carries a picture of himself (from earlier in the movie) in his wallet is one of the funniest moments in horror movie history. Because, you know, it would be ridiculous to have just shown his driver’s license to remind us who he was. 🤣
Omg you're right! That's hilarious. 🤣

Hope Marie Carlton in Nightmare on Elm Street 4.
Joey dreams that the pin-up girl in his poster disappears then he finds her inside his waterbed, beckoning him to join her.

”How’s this for a wet dream?” Freddy Krueger.

We must respect history.

I began to wonder what the first nude scene in a horror movie was and it turns out it was in the Italian silent film “L’inferno” (1911). Based on Dante’s Inferno it is not only the first feature length horror film, but the first feature length film!

Pretty cool to find out the first feature length film is considered a horror movie AND has both male and female nudity. Although the nudity isn’t fun or sexual, it still counts. 😜

Not by at least 5 years:

Defined by length, the first dramatic feature film was the Australian 60-minute film The Story of the Kelly Gang (1906).[13] Similarly, the first European feature was the 90-minute film L'Enfant prodigue (France, 1907), although that was an unmodified record of a stage play; Europe's first feature adapted directly for the screen, Les Misérables[better source needed], came from France in 1909.[13] The first Russian feature was Defence of Sevastopol in 1911.[14] Early Italian features included L'Inferno (1911)

I missed the part where it said the first full-length Italian feature film.

I guess the lesson is, don’t learn, read and quote history when you’re tired!

I haven't seen any of these since I never watch horror type films that don't have a comedic twist.

Angela Basset

I don’t think any of us will ever forget her bold portrayal of Voodoo Queen Marie Laveau, however in Ryan Murphy’s “American Horror Story: Coven”. She radiated power and control, even in the face of Papa Legba, right until the end.

Halle Berry

Halle-600x323.jpg

Berry has been no stranger to the genre, however, and though it has a somewhat infamous reputation, Gothika is one of her finest examples. She played Miranda Grey, a psychiatrist who wakes up a patient in the asylum where she was employed.

Miranda was a strong lead, fighting her way out of the asylum to prove her sanity and expose the men who killed the young woman who is haunting her.

This is kind of off topic, but ....

I had to find a reason to post Fran Bennett in here. Turns out she was a doctor in one of the Freddie flicks.

The Sisters of Elm Street | Graveyard Shift Sisters

Again, I don't watch that kind of film, but this lady delivered one of the most chilling ending dialogs in a TV series I can remember. Not a horror show of any kind, but this dialog still haunts me.

At the end of the In The Heat Of The Night episode "Family Matters" as Ruda Gibson speaking to her nephew Virgil Tibbs after her son Tyrell is shot by police:

'Don’t trouble yourself about words.
I don’t need no words from you ’cause your words don’t mean nothing.
Oh, you full of words about times gone by and all the family together and Sunday dinners out under the trees and waving to the trains passing by and laughing together and loving each other.
But there ain’t no family no more, not for me.
Only Tyrell.
I’ll be waiting for him when he gets out of jail.
But i don'’t never, ever want to see any of y’all again.
Ever.'

In The Heat Of The Night Actors You May Not Know Passed Away

Those eyes. That look. You just knew she meant it.

She has one of those voices that is just fun to listen to. And I can confirm she was great in Wes Craven’s New Nightmare. 👍

She also spoke on of the funniest lines I ever heard on TV, but that doesn't fit here.

Wow. This is super interesting! I'm going to have grab some time and sit through the whole thing.

Being in black and white ought to buffer the gore.

Hopefully. 🎃

So...why is it that all the people in Hell are naked? Is that a requirement? :p

Kirsten Baker in Friday the 13th Part 2.
The first time I saw a woman full frontal! I’ll never forget that feeling.
I also recently heard her talking about this scene and she had fun and remembers it fondly. To me, that makes it even better. 😍
