HALLOWEEN'S Haven of Horror Hotties

I also saw The Faculty for the first time recently.
Not bad, but not great.
I really wanted to see Laura Harris naked, but for some reason they digitally removed her nipples!

Totally strange since the movie is rated R and she has done nudity plenty of times in other movies.
Strange!
I never noticed her lack of nipples, and I've watched this movie plenty of times, especially this scene. 🔥

Vampira, purported to be the first Horror Host, based her look on Morticia Addams (the comic strip character). Her real name was Maila Nurmi. I was listening to a podcast about her and she’s pretty interesting. She was into bondage, she may have been one of the earliest examples of Goth, she once did a skit as Vampira taking a bath (implied nudity) with her pet bat washing her back and Igor snorkeling under the bath water—pretty risqué for 1950’s TV.

She was also the human model for Malificent in Sleeping Beauty.

How the hell is a waist that small humanly possible? And was she part of the Ed Wood acting troupe? Or was that Vampiro?

"The most sinister woman to ever dance on the face of this Earth."

Fun fact: Quentin Tarantino wrote himself into the scene so he could be the man sucking her toes to satisfy his foot fetish. 👣

Salma Hayek in From Dusk Til Dawn
Salma is a miracle! But the Tarantino thing . . . 🤢

She did a lot of unhealthy things to get that waist, but she wanted to have an impossible figure as Vampira to add to the overall look.

And yes, she starred in Plan 9 from Outer Space, considered to be the worst movie ever, then, I believe the same week, played Malificent at Walt Disney studios. That’s about as far on both ends of the spectrum you can get as an actor!

Wacky bit in the Wiki.

"In 1981, Nurmi was asked by KHJ-TV to revive her Vampira character for television. She worked closely with the producers of the new show and was to get an executive producer credit, but eventually left the project over creative differences. According to Nurmi, it was because the station cast comedic actress Cassandra Peterson in the part without consulting her. "They eventually called me in to sign a contract and she was there", Nurmi told Bizarre magazine in 2005. "They had hired her without asking me."[25]

Nurmi worked on the project for a short time, but quit when the producers would not hire Lola Falana to play Vampira. The station sent out a casting call, and Peterson auditioned and won the role.[citation needed]

Unable to continue using the name Vampira, the show was abruptly renamed Elvira's Movie Macabre with Peterson playing the titular host. Nurmi soon filed a lawsuit against Peterson. The court eventually ruled in favor of Peterson, holding that "likeness means actual representation of another person's appearance, and not simply close resemblance." Peterson claimed that Elvira was nothing like Vampira aside from the basic design of the black dress and black hair. Nurmi claimed that the entire Elvira persona, which included comedic dialogue and intentionally bad graveyard puns, infringed on her creation's "distinctive dark dress, horror movie props, and...special personality."

Can you imagine Lola Falana in that role? I only remember her as a singer/dancer.
