It happens to most of us. at 24 i was abour 105 on a good day and a dancer. Now reaching 46 this year and about double that. Working on it though. Mine was a kid and spending time at home with him, home cooking and not much physical activity.

As far as is it SO or SE... I think that is up to you. I guess it doesn't really matter if you are happy with the arrangment.
Congrads on your son graduating. I know you are proud of him.
And most of us were skinny at one time and my how it changes. The only thing that really seems to work is eat small meals many times a day, and get some excerise even if it is walking a few miles a day.
And yes I got down to 190 but I am back up to 206 and I hate it. Going to get it off again .... some how some way...
So might as well do some jumping jacks......

That is not a stupid question. I used spousal equivlant because he was. We were husband and wife in everyway but legal. We had a joint checking account. I would get his life insurance and vice versa if anything happened, and towards the end, I was his health care surrogate.
I started using the term SE when he got sick. Using that term opened more doors for me that SO or better half.

Oh man I feel like a mac turck ran over me. I have been drinking way too much caffine and now my heart is freaking out doing it's triple beating. This happened before back in the mid 90s and doc said for me to get off it. I did for years, but with this diet the doc has me on, I got tired of diet sprite and 7up. So been doing diet Mt Dew. Yea I know all the caffine in there but it was the best tasting one. I hate diet colas. Well, I found diet Coke with Splenda. MAN IS THAT GOOD! So much better then old diet Coke. Well between the Coke and Mt Dew, and I was down south for 3 weeks and had lots of Tea.... my heart has been going nuts.
SO.... I am off the caffine stuff and I gues having caffine withdrawal as well as my neck is out and my head is killing me.
I know gripe, gripe, gripe. We men are sissys. Women would just take it and stride and keep moving..... OK I AM NOT A WOMAN!

Shreik, I have noticed that there is a lot of Libra's on Lit. We all must be the products of cold winters..
My mom said I was the result of the hot water heater going out during her shower on a very cold night. She jumped into bed and snuggled up to my dad to get warmed back up... 9 months later... here I came.
