Hanging out with Spenser

No hon, that is not the problem. The windows are SOLID ONE PIECE panes of glass.
There are two of then with about 5 inches of space between the two panes. We are talking 2 panes of glass that are 4 or 5 ft tall and they CAN NOT - EVER - be opened up. That is the problem. I have never seen this before, but this is a VERY OLD trailer and that is why we are having the problems we are having.

I have seen those type and why they keep them is beyond me.....well as a red neck grab a sledge hammer find the window to place the a/c in and go at it...don't forget the wood to surround it....j/k :) I wish you the best though with your plight of the a/c. Have a wonderful week end and try to stay cool.

Just stopping by to say hi sweetman.. I hope that you have found a way to cool your house down.. Wanna consider a trip to Florida.. I can promise you that you will be cool when you need to be............and hot when I want you to be.. :) ;)

Hello sweet and kind Spenser......hope your doing well...and staying cool...or are you sitting in your undies again:devil:

Great greetings dear friends

I pray that this day is good to you and yours

HI Dear friends...
It has been really hot here. Temps in the upper 90s and still trying to figure out what to do about the AC.
We have finally worked out a deal with the AC people and they are coming out tomorrow to see why a central unit that is only - at the most 12 yrs old - has about died. If it is a bad unit (they said it should last as much as 17-19 yrs.), then they will work with us to replace it and they will work out payments.
So.. that is some good news.

Also I had an office lined up for my businesses and then the owner backed out and decided to sell his building. So I was out again. BUT - I found out a very nice office building in town will let me have an office for around 200. All bills paid. It will work out perfect. So I will not be on much as I will be working on the AC and working on setting up the new office.

Thanks for dropping by... and will talk to you later..

Hi All...
Just popping in to see how everyone is doing. Still working on trying to get the office. They have given me the lease and the insurance they want me to carry is really high, so may not be able to do this office. I have checked into a couple of offices and some look good and not asking for high insurance. But they are more in the rent, but more space as well. I am not going to commit to anyone at this time until I have all the facts and the prices together. Also calling other insurance people.

Finally got some rain after not having any for weeks... Grass was brown and dead, but this is just a little rain. We need about 4 days of none stop rain to get us out of the drought we are in. People I know who have gardens have all given up on them as they are bone dry. So, keep the rain coming!

You all take care... and I will pop in again. If not have a happy and SAFE 4th of July!

Thanks... I did take the office and I have been moving in this weekend. This is Saturday and I am flat wore out... BUT IT HAS AC! Still nothing done on the AC at home... uggghhhhh.... Still trying to get that fixed.... everyone is backed up because of all the ACs breaking down with the temps near 100. So hopefully that will be fixed very very SOON!
Thanks for stopping by... you are always a sweetheart!

God, I so remember the heat in TX. I lived in El Paso, Austin, Dallas, Brownsville and Abilene. That is one hot hot place! Try to stay cool!

spent most of yesterday at the pool!!!!
today was full of kids and stuff didnt' make it to the pool! and it was hot! 101 in the shade of the tree in the front yard.

and get this they are enforcing a burn ban - but.... did not include fireworks in the ban. Sooo all the volunteer firedepartments in this area have been busy this evening. can't wait to see what tomorrow will bring.

update on Toni

I know many of you know our friend Tonitits... here is an update on her son....

Daniel is doing great. We had another care conference yesterday and they said that he is continuing to improve daily. He is still on target to get released from here on July 27. The lady also said that our insurance covers him going to cognitive rehab, but the only possible glitch is the one they primarily use, Pate Rehabilitation, usually only allows 14+, and he is 13. But they have not said no. So we will have to just wait and see. It will be a day patient. He would go for 5-6 hours a day, 5 days a week. Basically, just like school. They help them with the cognitive and get back into the "real" world. Making them as independent as possible. Hopefully, he will be able to get in and keep up or surpass where he was before and after this is all over he won't have anymore problems. Keep us in your thoughts and prayers. Tell everyone I said hi! Hope all is well with everyone! Hugs, Toni

Thought you all would like to know.
