Say hey bro. First off greatest of luck. Second whats a blog and hoyou use oneSpenser41 said:Hi Everyone!
Sorry I have not been on a lot lately. With the moving into new office, trying to get the computer biz going as well as radio - voice work, and dealing with my mom's stuff... I have been working my tail off.
To be honest, the next few months I am going to be on only when I can. So if this thread dies, I can understand and I will just try to catch everyone when I can.
But if it continues, then I will post a couple of times a week to see how everyone is and keep them updated on what I am doing. Matter of fact, was thinking of doing a blog and just posting on that and have people post comments.. Anyone doing a blog by the way?
So, the last of my stuff is going out today and Thursday and then taking a week off, started the 28 before hitting it hard.
So talk to you all later!

Spenser41 said:Hey Shreik.... A blog is like an on line Diary. There are many kinds of them on line. Some are just for families... where they all post their thoughts if they all live far away. Other's are political, or about your hobbies or just about anything you want it to be. Some just have people posting their daily thoughts, others allow friends or strangers post their thoughts on what the writer is posting.
If you want more information... do a search on blogs and you will find 1000s of them. Some are also sexual and people post their sexual adventures on line.
It can be as tame or as wild as you want it to be.
Later Dude!
Thank you this clears up some of my confusionSpenser41 said:Hey Shreik.... A blog is like an on line Diary. There are many kinds of them on line. Shreik I was a co-owner of a political blog for a couple of years.. Here is the difference between a blog and a message board.
Message board: If you are a member, you can create a thread and you can post comments in any thread that is already created.
Blog: The owner of the blog, and anyone he/she has given posting rights to are the only people who can create a thread or introduce a subject for discussion. You can post comments to the thread if you are a member.
Spenser, we are now under Hurricane warnings as of this morning.. Kat is coming in sometime early tomorrow morning..
I am so freaking sick of hurricanes..

Duck and cover sexy ladyLeeleigh said:Lol... snowstorms I would not mind.. prob. ice storms either.. as long as I had a lot of firewood, food, a nice thick rug, blankets, lots of pillows and a sexy man with an over active sex drive to keep me company.. I am sure we could cum up with something to do..![]()
You can keep the tornados though..we get them too, especially during hurricanes.. Which, btw, came ashore down in Broward county. We expect upwards of 20" of rain and some strong wind gusts starting later this evening.

He said the place looks like a warzone.
40 dead and the number is climbing. No power and not sure when they will get any. He is checking on my son. But then I got a call from the ex. She heard from him. He is ok, doing well. No water still but they have drinking water. He said he and friend bathed in the river as there is no other place to bathe. The river is not clean but he said it was better then the water at the house that smells like a sewer.
She said he seems to be doing ok but said he has seen some very sad things. I am sure he is talking about the bodies. I also found out that Red Cross and Fema finally showed up yesterday. So things are getting somewhat better. Ex does not have a home to come back to and neither does my daughter. They are going to have to figure out what they are going to do.
Thanks again for all your prayers.

I am sorry that your daughter and ex lost their homes.. but they all have the most important thing in the world.. their lives. I hope they both had insurance, and FEMA will help them to the best of their ability..
And honey... I hope you are ok.. I know that you have been running on fear and nerves.. please take care of yourself.. you are very loved here...

Spenser41 said:Leigh, thank you for your words. My son will NEVER go to counseling. He is just too macho. I am sure something is available but he will never go. Already tired to get him to go.
I am not worried about their houses. My daughter can live with her sister and husband or stay with my mom and live there and allow her to save money to get a place in Mobile, or come up here to KY. She has no idea what she will do.
And the ex was renting and they will get it take care of, but she will stay at aprts she manages. I was just saying that, not out of worry, but for people to be praying. Many times when I post something, I am not worried about it, I am just giving information... As far as Fema is concerned... as you can see on the news, they are a little spread out and are not meeting all the needs of people. When a city gets hit, they respond... but you are talking about close to 20 cities that have been hit in 3 states and these are beach cities, this does not include the other cities that were hit off the shore... So FEMA is stretched to the max. We as a country have NEVER had to deal with this much damage and distruction before except the world trade center. So as you can tell, it will be a LONG TIME before help comes from FEMA and even they are saying that themselves. You know the damage I am talking about as you are in Fla and saw 4 hurricanes hit you. I have a friend who was in Vero Beach and it took them over a year to finally get their house fixed so they could move back in. This storm was MUCH WORST then those 4 together and the damage is unbelieveable. Remember Andrew? Remember how they tried to have the people live in tents? That didn't work either. One thing that people are no releasing is this... there are no more homes... all gone, there is not enough apartments or other housing for people to move in with nor do they have the money to get a new place to live.. especially since so many of them lost their jobs. At Ingalls shipyard, they laid off everyone! You are talking about THOUSANDS who now, have no jobs. THis does not include the thousands that were working for casinos that now have no jobs. Yes they will rebuild and yes they will start over, but you are talking about YEARS before that happens. When you think about it, there are going to be THOUSANDS of people and families who will have to move and start over. COMPLETELY! IT is overwhelming. Am I worried? Not really... my kids are in pretty good shape as they still have their jobs. But I know of many who do not have anything.... and not sure what they are going to do....
SO now I am asking people to pray for all the people and families who are on the coast that have no idea what to do. Already there are many who have given up and are killing themselves. They just said that 200 cops in New Orleans that walked off the job and a handful that have committed suicide. This is going to be a huge mess that will take years... to repair and move on.
It has been so cool to see all the states that have opened up their states, their homes and their lives to relocate and start over. Yes we will pull together and get better... but it will take a long time and a lot of healing and a lot of prayers...
For those of us who are not going through this, we are so blessed.... My son was telling me power is still off.. Has been now for almost a week. Water is unsafe. He told me of a friend of his that was not thinking and give her dog water from the tap. The dog died the next day. They are telling people to not even bath in the water. I know how I feel when I have not had a shower in a day or two.. but no shower or clean clothes since Sunday? And the heat as bad as it is? YUCK! But yet, they just do what they have too. Some are bathing in the ocean or rivers... not clean water at all, but better then nothing.
Thank God people from all over the US are getting people out by way of the government but to be honest, they really screwed up and dropped the ball. Private people have stepped forward to get people out or open their doors to let them leave. And yet there are many who have not gotten any help at all.
I am just saying, not worried.... not in fear..... that we need to pray for this area and pray for this country because all hell is going to break out over this and who dropped the ball and why people had to die. Some died because they were stupid and stayed... no matter if they were told to leave. The reason, they just would not go. Even people in New Orleans are refusing to go... even tho it means they will die. And there were many who had cars and could have gone... but they stayed.... so many more lives could have been saved it they had just left. But that is another story. You know as much as I do, that peopel on the coast are told to leave that this storm is bad to only have not much happen. But then when the really big one hits, they die because they just felt, it would be no big deal....
People who have never lived on the coast, don't have a clue what it is like but those of us who have lived and gone through hurricanes know how crazy it can get.
Anyway, I am not slamming you for your words... not at all. But this storm and the damage is much worst then we have ever seen before and what the normal things are, FEMA and all the help, just will not happen like in the past. Heck there are people in FLA who still have houses in tarps with no money to rebuild. So if they are still dealing with this crap, what does that say about what will happen in MS, AL and LA?
Glad to see all the money being raised tho, and just hope the people down there get some relief.
