Nope and your right.... 1 million with no home or jobs. And people are blaming the mayor, the gov and Bush. But I mean come on...... We have NEVER faced this kind of disaster. It is really easy to point a finger and play Monday QB. The main thing we need to do is focus on getting them out, getting them help and helping them to rebuild. We can go back and look at what failed and what didn't work. Just like 9-11, this is the first time something has happened to us ... this BIG at least. They were set up and ready to go, but not in the strength that was needed, because we had no idea what to expect... Even Jim Cantory of Weather Channel said, I expected a storm surge but not like this. No one did. And no one expected the Levy to break. Yet I was listening on the radio about this and they knew it needed to be fixed since the 70s.... but the reason why the money didn't go to fixing them, is because the mayor and gov offices spent it on tourism.
So the ball got dropped in many places over many years and to just say it is Bush's fault or the major's fault or whoever, we need to get over that and focus on what is URGENT!
