And we have a standing rule here. Does it say "Cream of Mushroom soup"? Cream of Celery will do, thanks. Anything "mushroom" does not come into my house.

In addition to using celery we also use cream of onion or chicken instead of mushroom .

Yeah, I'm not fond of fungus either. I just love my green bean casserole though.

There's not a dish on the planet that I like well enough to overcome my aversion to your typical crappy mushroom.
