Happy New Year!

About half an hour to go and the fireworks have been going off for at least four hours already.

I'm off to bed.

Happy New Year everyone.

One hour to go here on the Treasure Coast.

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE

Here's to a great '08. :D

Sitting at home alone watching the ball drop on TV always makes me feel sad, lonely and pathetic, even though God knows I wouldn't want to be at some uproarious party like that, and in fact wouldn't want to be anywhere else but right here. I guess it makes me feel like should want that, but that's just not me, and I'm quite content with that.

So, I just poured myself a little snifter of Amaretto and will celebrate the countdown right here with the eastern time U.S. branch of the AH community that in a total unexpected surprise became such an important part of my life beginning 27 months ago.

1500, 1499, 1498, 1497 . . . :D

Well, it's now midnight ad the beginning of a new year. I can tell by the sounds of gun fire outside my window. So just to be on teh safe side I'm going to get as far away from the windows as I possibly can without going into the basement.

Happy New Year everyone.

We will open the book. Its pages are blank. We are going to put words on them ourselves. The book is called "Opportunity" and its first chapter is New Year's Day. Edith Lovejoy Pierce

In the New Year, may your right hand always be stretched out in friendship, never in want.

I've been busy sending out New Year's greetings. My apologies if I've missed anyone -- or sent you one twice.

Woohoo--this is fun!

Us East Coasters get to ring in the New Year 3 more times with our fellow Litizens in other time zones. :D

Sort of a New Year's version of "Space Ghost: Coast to Coast." :D
