Have publishing times significantly improved?

Perhaps the Lit queue can only handle a certain number of submissions/total volume of data per day, and everything above that gets lost.
Good morning. I have six stories sitting in pending. Seemingly stuck in Literotica jail. Several of them were rejected for reasons heretofore rejected for reasons that were imaginative. Nonetheless I jumped to adjust the stories and resubmitted. I get why people hate America and Americans now. A country sliding into a fascist state, committing illegal acts of War. My dad fought Nazis in WWII, was a wounded, decorated guy. Not a glorified man, but one who showed up. We have our own paramilitary force murdering people with impunity. 70% of Americans deplore this war in Iran. It feels like you're running me off or trying to do so. Since the update my stories just sit in this queue, with an occasional story getting published, but honestly the better ones are stuck. I can only write you a note here and there. Please publish my stories.

Sincerely,

Terry Benish

How long have your stories been Pending?

The site has a standard set of rejection reasons (content, technical, suspected use of AI (there are a dozen or so), usually in the form of questions. You need to address them, not dismiss them as imaginative - they're standard reasons for rejection. The first pass probably involves word bots of some sort. Address the questions and resubmit.

Your rant is irrelevant, you should remove it.

really? your utterly full of shit. I've never used AI.

I have two stories still pending - one is a full 7 days and the other 5 full days. Both the submission dates automatically reset after 24 hours. The story that is pending for 7 days is second person POV (non-erotic) and the other story flash fiction (lesbian sex)

TBH, I have no faith in the automatic screening tools that Literotica uses. For shits and giggles, I used two free online AI detection tools and neither story came up as AI generated.

Same. One story pending for 7 days, deleted and resubmitted, now 7 days again, just going to wait it out this time I guess. Both times the sub date changed to the following day for some reason. I've never used AI to write, and online tools confirmed 0% chance of AI, so if that is in fact the reason, whatever tool they're using is garbage.

Plus, the story is my 37th overall and the 9th in a series that's a sequel to a 16 chapter series. If it's an AI hold, what is the implication, that I got bored of writing all of a sudden and started submitting AI writing now after hundreds of thousands of words?

Since a previous comment on a sticky thread by Laurel said edits take 15 days, even though this is not an edit, I will wait the full 15 days before I DM her. You can't patch a muffler full of holes with chewing gum and expected to work properly

My most recent story edit took 33 days before it disappeared from the Pending queue. And then another 4 days before the edited story actually appeared and replaced the original.

For new stories, I don't think deleting then resubmitted after 7 days is helpful. That just sends it to the back of the queue. Best to sit it out for a reasonable amount of time. Whatever you think that is.

I deleted and resubmitted my latest after giving it 22 days (sent a DM and gave it a few days before doing so). The original description included the word "young," which I removed (the gimmick in the story is that the stepmom is 20 whereas the stepson is 21). Maybe that does the trick.

Just got publish date for tomorrow, so total of seven days both times, publishing on 8th day of the second attempt. Both times the submission date changed the following day, so that's obviously not the deal-breaker some writers think it is.

Quant à moi, j'attends toujours depuis le 27 février... patience.

I've one on March 26, which is 19 days. I deleted two stories in pending that were at 40+ days. I don't use AI, I can point out ones that are published that are rife with AI, and they get published. There's no reason.

Mine was originally submitted on 3 March. Waited 17 days, sent a message. Waited 5 days, no change, so I resubmitted with a new description in case that was triggering a check. Waited 10 days and resubmitted again, this time with a note after seeing some people say this worked for them.

Still nada.
