Well, DCL, since you are the one who unintentionally and unwittingly forced my hand and made me post to your trivia question 2 weeks ago I guess I have you to thank for making me choose a name, register and start adding my 2¢ to this board.

In the process of inventing my online persona, I did say the name aloud but I was in a room by myself and had the good sense and mental health stability not to answer myself. Does that count?

Wizard came from work, Vinyl wizard is the real nick name , but when I joined here it didn't need to have the vinyl in front of it ...........to much to explaine..............I got that from some of the full wrap deacl jobs on buses and tractor trailers I have done....and liked it and it just stuck............

I don't think that I've said my Lit name out loud. But I don't think that it would bother me as much as saying some of my other board nics.

I was writing an erotic story for this site (that was submitted in JULY and still isn't up, Laurel. ), and instead of using the antagonist's name, I used "Rand." It seems that if I was that spaced out, I would have used my real name. It kind of freaked me out, actually.

Course having said that the first time I spoke to Xander we introduced ourselves in real name status... and if you could shake over the computer we probably did.

Umm Chef ... hate to say it but everyone knows my name, that's because it's Nicole. If you don't call me Nicole then it's Nikki, and everyone here knows that I think. Just spell it right and I'll be happy.

As far as saying my name out loud I think I just answered that ... Yes!!! everyday

Sometimes...of course, my uncle always calls me Sammy Jo. My dad calls me Sammy. My computer instructor in college called me Sammy. Most people just call me Samantha. I think I chose to use my real name (which I use at every site, chat etc...except for AIM because it was taken, I use Maguerites - it means Daisy in French...and no, I don't speak French...and sometimes I change ICQ to Samalama because my honey calls me that) so I wouldn't get confused if someone started calling me something else.

Dusk is a name I have always liked, and Dawn is my middle name, but it is still stange when I hear it out loud. I do like some of my other nick names that people call me, but it can confusses people into thinking I am male so I would never use them on this board.

my nick here is my RL nickname- i knew some wee ones that had just mastered l's but hadn't gotten to r's yet, so lara became lala- with fostered mention of teletubbies (shudder) and kiki and lala- twin stars (sanrio characters,... hello kitty's playmates) my problem is i don't know wether kiki is the girl, or lala

anyhow, back to the point of the thread, my name is the same,... BUT i haven't always used this nick, when i used another, it was very weird, i went by Queen_anastasia, or some combo thereof,... and it was weird having someone ask for the queen, and having to answer to it, but most people that i got to know online stroked my ego and told me i was the queen
