Have You Ever Said Your Lit Name Out Loud?

Seeing as how my real first name is Mark, that's rarely been a problem. I have yet to see the response to "Hi, I'm Munchin Mark".

Well, how can I resist your invitation DCL?

:p

The only person from here that I've ever talked to was Lovely Latina and that was because we knew each other way before we joined here from being online card partners for a long time.

Online cards! Gads! What a cyber geek I was/am/is!

Crap...there goes my rep for being a "cool chickie". *sigh* Ya know...you're lucky I like you so much, Man_With_Horsey_Penis, or I'd reveal to the whole BB how you can only play Yahoo Spades whilst wearing your lucky shamrock thermal long johns with the little butt flap open for adequate "cooling and ventilation"...was that what is was? <snickers> But I'd never do that to you. Nuh uh. No way. Tis not my style. <milky way>

:D

As for the subject...

I've spoken to four Lit members via telephone (two for the very first time just this past week), and it didn't seem strange at all to say, "Hi...this is Lisa...Lovely Latina..." I suppose it's because I feel that that's who I am..."Lovely Latina." We're one in the same. What you see of me here, personality wise, is pretty much me.

Oddly though...when replying to emails from people that I don't know all that well, I find it much stranger to refer to them as their real name when I've become so accustomed to knowing them as their Lit name. That usually only lasts until we get closer and really get to know one another. Then the opposite becomes true...it seems strange to call them by their Lit name.

Dixon...no collect calls next time, eh?
