Have you had Covid?

Fyi, The 90% of us who used to argue with you knobs about your denial now just laugh at you.
Fyi...I worked all the way through that pandemic and never missed a day.
On the way in to work I passed many a bbq or garden party with the people who were "working from home".
I feel that all the people who worked in necessary industry were sacrificial .
Those who stayed at home...you arent really necessary are you.
Prove to me why youre necessary?

You’ll be licking your burn wounds all night, isn’t that enough for you?
No not really.
If you stayed at home youve not really got anything to offer have you...except maybe a frothy coffee.

Let me tell you about convid;
Back in January my wife & I became sick, Suspected we had vivid. Did telahealth with Dr. who ask us to get tested. I asked her if it would change the treatment for us. She said “not really.” We got tested anyway. 6 months later, I got a bill with an $1100 dollar charge. If that’s not convid, we’ll…

I saw something the other day in a news item that basically said most people have had Covid at least once by now.

Have you had Covid? What was it like?
Replying to this topic, yes I had the Wuhan-19 virus in Dec 2019: there were already kids here saying "there's a virus going around that isn't a virus" around Sep of that year. I had just gotten over the flu, but of course my immunity was still weakened...I walked into Walmart and the next day I had a 100.4f fever for about 6 hours. I said, "what the hell??" and started looking up stuff, and found Stanford Medical already reported on it, and issued many items to enable someone to self-test, one of those being "can you take a deep breath and then hold the air for 20 seconds without pain or significant discomfort?" By that night, I failed that: I had a nasal congestion/mucus 2x as thick that took a long time to blow out and I had quite a bit of thick chest congestion. Couldn't sleep but 2.5 hours because of the cough, and it felt like I had a raging sinus infection with post-nasal drip on steroids. I had also started dosing myself with essential oil diluted eucalyptus at 25% once/hour. I killed the fever with another essential oil. Next day I didn't cough much, but still had the super-thick nasal congestion, but it was 50% less; with the eucalyptus dosing, no cough, along with taking 2000 mg vit c every hour and 10K IU vit d3/day with 50 mg zinc. That night I slept like a baby and didn't even cough and only blew my nose 3 times before I nodded off. 3rd day, felt nearly totally whole, except a little energy loss (20%) and I could walk 20 min @ a brisk pace, only coughing 4 times. Slept without trouble that night too. However, I lost my sense of smell and taste for about 1 week (although I lose that when I have a sinus infection and have for a long time before that). I took one shot of silver Campo Azul tequila once/hour for the algavins and healing properties it possesses because it's so close to aloe vera. Killed that big 1.5 L bottle in 2 weeks at that rate. Damnedest thing was that I kept a nagging cough (like a post-nasal drip) for a month--just like the one that held on after I had a severe bronchitis in winter 2013. Not gotten it again...but I discovered a great essential oil combination to largely moderate that cough (reduce it 60%) and still kill colds/viruses, so I'm happy with that.

To anyone that wants to take a preventative to (at least) severely curtail/majorly minimize getting the virus, follow the vitamin regimen developed by Dr. Zev Zelenko (known as the Zelenko protocol); if you're in a place that has hydroxychloroquine and azithromycin OTC, get it and it can kill the virus in as little as 48 hours (6 days for sure); Dr. Peter McCullough has a related protocol using ivermectin that worked as well as the Zev Zelenko protocol.

If you love using a diffuser, fill it to the line and add 4 drops of eucalyptus, which will purify the air and kill airbourne pathogens in a 300-500 sq ft area; if you can stand it, use oregano instead--it's strong, but it's even better.

I have a negative ion generator in my office along with some sticky black hash and a slim redhead with big tits.

Haven’t caught Covid.

Try it!

Testing is free here. I also don’t know anyone stateside that had to pay to be tested. Maybe it depended on the state.

Extremely mild. I take zinc and Vitamin D3 - it has long been known Zinc prevents or mitigates the effects of viral infection. D3 helps. Bet you didn't know that, huh?

With the exception of a mild dry cough that lasted 3 days, the rest of my symptoms, I swear, were gone in an hour.

Gee, I wonder why all those people pushing immunization don't tell you about Zinc?

And before you go all Soros Useful Idiot on me calling me a far right wing conspiracy theorist, I work in the field of environmental health and preventive medicine.

Zinc - 50 mg per day. D3 - 125 mcg per day.

You're welcome.

I might try that, but I don't want to overdo it. Maybe I'll just start with one thing and incorporate the others slowly into my environment. Where do you think I should start? Maybe the negative ion generator?

In Canada we’re big on Zinc and D3 in the Winter to prevent colds, and I had read early on about D3 relative to Covid and respiratory generally so yeah, i doubled up on the D3.

PCR testing was like $100 around here. But they waived the fee if you were positive... ...which is weird.

Insurance pays for 4 free antigen test kits per month. But even then they're only about $12 each if you had to pay out of pocket.

I donate blood regularly. In January 2021, I got a note from the blood bank saying "don't be alarmed, but we have indentified Covid antibodies in your blood donation which indicates you've had Covid since your last donation". I recalled being ill in November 2020 but multiple Covid tests were negative.

Yep, still recovering two weeks later, Dr gave me Paxlovid , take blood pressure meds, found either Covid or Paxlovid kicked up my pressure about 20 pts, not life threatening. I was initially head stuffy, like head colds I had as a kid. Some diarrhea, fatigue. The fatigue was the worst, now I am much better figured I got it July 23rd. Still testing positive that was a bit of a surprise.

I have. Luckily it was very mild and I was back to normal within a few days. Not being able to taste would make me sad.

I have to have a test before I go in the nursing home my mum is in, so about thrice weekly.
Just an FYI, something to be aware of.

I didn't think I had it, but was feeling off. I tested negative and went to work for a critical meeting (Left just after the meeting). 13 other people got it 4-5 days after. Turns out, I had it and was spreading a few days before the rapid antigen test came back positive. Same with several other people, sick with negative tests, until about day 3 or 4.

So, if you feel off at all, maybe pause your visits for a few days...

Huh? How could I be tested before there were tests?

I have to have a test before I go in the nursing home my mum is in, so about thrice weekly.

Masks and vax are required at my mom’s facility, but no testing anymore.

Twice. Little sniffle the first time and no taste or smell both times. After the second time I still can’t smell like I used to before and the phantom smells are annoying. When I got it the first time I was not in an at risk group so I wasn’t able to get the vaccine at that point as they were rationing them for those at risk. After I got it and it was so mild I never bothered to get the vaccine because I just wasn’t worried. Then of course they got crazy and started punishing people who didn’t get it. I was indifferent before but that just creeped me out and they’ve only gotten more crazy since. Now I’m like what the heck kind of vaccine has to have 3,4,5,… never ending boosters? And if is so safe and effective then why would you need to force people to take it. I think I kind of lucked out by getting it before I got the vax. It caused me to wait and watch and notice how strange this all was.

Nether me or my wife have had it. Which kinda surprises me since my wife is a nurse and works the ER. I didn’t think I’d get it. I came from a hardy household where we played lawn darts and ate two day old leftovers that we stored in the microwave.

I got it two years ago. It was like a bad cold. I’ve been sicker. I was utterly miserable for about a day, then I got my strength back but couldn’t stop coughing for about two weeks.

Ex-wife narrowly beat it - she was this close to needing a ventilator, and we all know that’s game over. Evidently she made some kind of bargain with the devil, though, and she beat it and lives to be an intolerable bitch.

I've had it 3 times in last 2 years. 1st time was the worst, beginning of 2020, off work for 3 weeks, honestly thought I was gonna die at one point, felt drained for months afterwards, cough that wouldn't go away, constantly sleeping. 2nd time was just before winter last year, felt like a cold, only had time off work because had to quarantine, other than that was OK. 3rd time was 2 months ago and was bad for about a week, no as bad as 1st time and no as easy as the 2nd time. Is the weirdest virus ever. Know some people were tested positive and felt absolutely fine and then others that died from it and nobody was allowed to say goodbye to them.

No, unless it was a case of having it with no symptoms and I wasn't aware of it.

I wonder if people as a whole will ever come around to admitting what a blown out of proportion disaster this was. Destroying the economy, costing people their homes and businesses, ultimately creating this inflation and supply chain issues and creating a situation where no one thinks they need to ever leave their house and work again

All to win an election.

By using a pandemic with a less than 2% death rate and that's with over inflated death totals

The more that comes out about Fauci, the more angry people should be,
