Have you had Covid?

Yes, this past June. I've been vaccinated and it presented as a bad cold. The worst symptoms were over in a few days. The cough lingered for a good while. All in all, I'm pretty happy, to get it then rather than the nasty version of a couple years ago.

I have no intention of getting yet another booster until such time as it is PROVEN to have a high degree of efficacy.

Before Covid, did you want “proof” of other vaccines?

For me, it never crossed my mind and now I’m maybe 10% “hmmmmm” about them. Largely, I just trust Doctors.

Please take your menopausal episodes to your Husband. (Lucky bastard )

Thanks!

Uh huh. Posting in EST. You are the worst liar in the world but you do make the GB giggle, so there is that.
I am not menopausal yet but I will be sure to take out my mood swings on you. Stay tuned.
I also changed your post. You are welcome

“The menopausal transition most often begins between ages 45 and 55. It usually lasts about seven years but can be as long as 14 years.”

You say you’re 52….Sounds like menopause, but could be long Covid.

Maybe more naps would help you.
That is peri-menopause.
To be in menopause, a woman must go 12 consecutive months without bleeding or spotting.

Life expectancy drops due to Covid, by ethnicity, USA:

“Native American and Alaska Native populations’ lost a total of 6.6 years from 2019 to 2021.

The Hispanic population lost 4.2 years.

The non-Hispanic Black population lost 4 years.

The white population lost 2.4 years.

And the Asian population lost 2.1 years.

The data come from the CDC’s National Center for Health Statistics, which recently published provisional data for 2021. “

Have been vaxed 4 times, latest boost 2 weeks ago.

caught Covid on holiday in Cyprus last week, first time, tested + when returned home on Friday. Cold, flu, fatigue but no bronchial symptoms other than slight cough. Vax may have moderated effects. Resting at home, will do test tomorrow to see if I’m clear.

I caught in back in February of 2020.
I was directly on the frontline with my DT and ERT transporting people to hospitals.
FOR ME.....it was like having pneumonia. Absolute fucking misery for 2 weeks, then exhausted for another 4 weeks.

Anymore it's like a cold. Our bodies and nature has adjusted to it. It's nothing more than a fucking scare tactic for dumbasses nowadays.

I agree; the vaccines and the natural tendency of viruses to become less dangerous as they spread kept the Big Cull to a minimum....only what, 6.5-7 million dead?

The deniers usually answer that with: they were old and/or sick anyway.

Natural Selection says eventually all anti-vaxxers will be dead.

Sure, they'll take our weak with them, but we'll be better for it overall.

Pink is sad today, and with good reason, but before you know it, her life will be better than the dying-roomate-hell she's had to endure.

I saw something the other day in a news item that basically said most people have had Covid at least once by now.

Have you had Covid? What was it like?
Not bad at all. Three days and then I was fine.

Having it right now and that is really bad. I can't go to my classes and can't even write my paper assignments for college at the moment, so decided to find essay writer for hire https://oxessays.com/essay-writer. I hope the guys will help me, so I can concentrate on the recovery process instead. Staying whole day in bed and don't have power to get up even.

I had it when it originally hit, and it seems to have kicked my arthritis into high gear, almost crippling me....

Twice. Back in the summer of 2020, I was sick for about 10 days, took over the counter remedies, took about a month to feel 100%. 2nd time was January of 2023, lasted about 5 days, again only took OTC remedies, took me about 10 days to get back to 100%. I’m 59 y/o male in very good physical condition.

I kept up with my vaccines and never got Covid. We can question the effectiveness of the vaccine at preventing Covid but I am proof that the vaccine doesn't cause Covid.

I had 3 shots and still got it. The Doc gave me a prescription that left a metallic taste in my mouth. But over all, it wasn't any worse than a bad cold.

I had all my vaccine shots and never got it. Most of my family members have had it, some more than once.

Been hearing a lot about this sort of stuff.

A good friends BP went from 106/65 to 145/90 for six months afterwords. I've been having auto immune weirdness and possibly arthritis since having it last. A lot of people I know are now diabetic all of a sudden after having covid.

This thing does weird stuff to us. I don't think we'll ever know exactly everything it does.

Nope. At least nothing that I was worried was anything more than a cold.

I have not had it and just one shot. But I take Vitamin C, Zinc and multivitamins and just pray a lot at my Age. Peace Be with all of You. This Country is going to Get Ruff I the Next Few Years.
