Hell of a Highschool IC

Crazy Kev

Kevin grinned his crazy grin at Akira,

"You are right, that would have been an option had the Technology group not taken the 20 seater out today on their field trip to the Radio station."

He shrugged innocently,

"I tend to listen, people don't think twice about talking around me since I am next to worthless right? OK this is starting to bother me, let's just introduce ourselves before we go any further, I am Kevin Smith aka Crazy Kev, Mad Hatter, Nutjob excetera excetera"

Lily had finished packing her bag and was beginning to put her converse back on when she heard everyone talking it was their only option. Standing up she stretched a little, "lily Collins" she smiled awkwardly.

Putting her bag on her shoulders she walked over to mrs cooper's desk and peeked over grabbing the first aid kit, it may held band aids, nothing extremely useful but she proceeded in putting its contents into her rucksack.

Turning she walked back to the group and stood next to akira, she noticed for the first time he was in the school uniform, looking to the floor she realised, it was only them now, they would have to work as a team if they wanted to survive, and she would have to toughen up.

Akira looked down at Lilly and relized she had a plain yet pretty face.

"Akira. And true the 20 sweater is gone but that still leaves the other smaller bus. Far as I see there is only 5 of us. Smaller the group is a better chance at stealth and survival."

"I can cut the power to the gates, I know that the generator room is just a standard double deadbolt lock, it will take me about five minutes but it can be picked. So we take the stairs to the generator room, cut the power, scoot over to the smaller bus," she said confidently. "Which will be easier to hot wire anyway..." she mumbled to herself as if thinking on how she would do it.

"Someone will have to manually raise the gates though, power will only sever the magnetic lock, it won't retract it. But it should be simple enough, a couple of you guys would have it open in a flash."

Watching as Lily collected her gear, Rose rolled her picks back up and slipped them into her pocket.

"I might be wrong, but I don't think these things can see very well, they only noticed us when we made noise or got close...so if we can remain as quiet as possible we might avoid getting their attention. But the bus and the gates both make noise. I'd say anything within the area would hear them, and with the power cut there won't be the emergency doors to slow them down."

"My name is Rose-Lee Franklin, and I think we'll need to split into two groups. One for the gates, and one for the bus once the power is cut..."

Lily was welcome to the idea of splitting up but Rose made a very suggestive point. Raising her hand she smiled, "I know the way Generator room, it's not far.

She walked to the window once more and watched as another body was dragged behind another dumpster, looking across the road she noticed the houses for the first time...and the mess they were in, looking to the others she pointed weakly, " erm... I think we better hurry, those houses seem to have been ransacked." squinting you could just make out the blood stain on the front door, swallowing nervously she backed away.

"shouldn't we have a time limit, because if they are attracted to sounds cell phones are a definite no." plus hers was running out of battery till she could charge it. She adjusted the bag on her shoulders, it was time to prove herself not worthless, she only wished her parents were here so she could rub it in their faces.

Crazy Kev

"Splitting up?"

Kevin chuckled,

"I think that is a bad move, but hey why not? Only one snag, once the bus start those with the bus will have to keep them at bay until the other group arrives. I vote safety in numbers."
