In all honesty, Xtinas, a lot of us have been in similar situations (some more than once). I have to say that the best course (at least for me) has been to go for it. I think the consensus is that you will be pleasently surprised. And if it works out, it is worth the anxiety. But believe me, once you get over that anxiety and take that next step, the feeling is wonderful.

Well not so possitive on the front for me...i got to see my friend after a long holidays and she looked soooo cute! anyway she does photography and had had a session with on of the other girls and had comments how they had to get around the half naked issue as my friend didnt want to see her naked....yet another reminder of her fairly certian straightness.

You're very right. Another one of my friends told me she thought that the girl was waiting for me to make a move. So I guess I'll try something this weekend, or at least hint at it, to see her response. LOL - Yep! The best is when the person tells you, "what took you so long?" or "Gee, I was wondering if you were ever going to kiss me!"
Or somethin similar. Remember too, besides our anxiety, nerves, fear, etc this person who is distracting you so much, has an ego like all of us.
And if anyone says they are insulted when someone of the same gender is attracted to them, they are secretly thinking, its flattering. A few honest heteros have admitted this to me many times.

Yes, lovely poems indeed. I think too that the longing you have to make a physical connection with someone is something each of us has done to someone else...Ever wondered? These feelings that are so common, are also mutually expressed (or hidden) by someone for you.
I agree with playwithlezli - comment on missed opportunities. Its something to ponder, the ones we didn't even know about.

I think I may have had a missed opportunity tonight actually We went dancing, and when we were walking into this bar, I was in front of her and she called my name to tell me some story. I don't know why, but it was that moment when I turned around and she was right in front of me, and she looked absolutely perfect, and everything was right - I'll never forget how bad I wanted to kiss her at that moment. But I just turned my head back around, closed my eyes really tight and let that idea go. I had been drinking but she hadn't, so I couldn't do much.

Earlier when we were taking pictures, the other girls had taken a picture where they were all holding or pointing to their boobs, I don't know why lol, but I was like "oh! I missed it." And the girl I like came up to me and said "you can still be in it, just pull your shirt down some," and she came up and pulled the middle part of my shirt down. If stuff like that does mean anything I'm probably giving her the wrong signals back because I get so nervous when she does it, I kind of do things or motions or whatever to make her stop. I'm such an idiot lol. She was also rubbing her feet on me because I HATE feet. They were getting a little close to um, a private area lol. But this feet thing resulted in us play wrestling, so it was good.

I got really frustrated tonight because I get sooooo excited to see her, and it makes my everyday that I do get to see her. But then I get so depressed while I'm with her because it's like I'm so close, but I can't have her. I can't have perfection, and it's really screwing with my emotions. I wish I could just forget her altogether, but I can't

Been there, done that, so has my girlfriend. It is easy to say relax and let it happen, but harder to do. So all these "lost opportunities" help us become the confident person we need to be, to lead our lives and end up with the right person in the end. Some of us come to it earlier (or later) than others, just enjoy the ride the best you can. My gel and I say that our relationship is so amazing we wish that we had of met 20 years ago, but then we wouldn't be the people we are now, so we likely wouldn't have the relationship we do have.
Hope that isn't too circular, but really the things that happen now, help us to be the people we can be.

Lol, sorry FR, you might be a little more frustrated after this one. Nothing's going to happen this weekend because her boyfriend's here, her roommate just told me. Even though she doesn't even like him that much anymore, I still can't do anything with him here.

I did send her an email a few weeks ago, but it was anonymous. She never responded though, so I wasn't sure if I should send another one or not?? I just feel really depressed right now, and I know that's so fucking stupid, but I do. I'm contemplating if I should even go out or not.

Ok, so this is what happened last night...

I was standing in the doorway, talking on the phone when she came up behind me. At first she just stood behind me and covered my eyes. I didn't say anything because I was on the phone and I thought maybe it was just her roommate. I was still talking on the phone, not saying anything to her, and she wrapped her leg around my thigh...by then I kinda figured it wasn't her roommate. When I got off the phone she moved her hands and I turned around. I told her I thought maybe she was her roommate and she was like "No! You shoulda known it was me. My touch is different." And I laughed and kinda acted like I was joking, but said "Yeah, it is." Then I gave her a hug and saw what she was wearing - sweatpants that were low and a tank top that was up on her stomach and pretty low on her chest. I said "Why are you naked?" and she said "I'm not naked! But I am kinda cold. Wow, my nipples are hard." Then she looked at me and said "You made my nipples hard!" I was kinda surprised she said that, so I was like "um, what?" then she said it again and went on to tell her roommate and our friend who was there. By then I was jokingly like "Yeah, of course I did." And I told her it was her fault for coming trying to hump me from behind lol.

Ahh, stuff like that makes me think she really does like me. I don't think she would have ever said that to her roommate or our other friend that was there, she only talks like that to me. ::sigh:: If only she wasn't so perfect.
