Talking about palindromes, Harry, just look at what some fat and lazy clever medieval dicks (orthodox monks) came up with in Dorian dialect and inscribed it on the fountain of a byzantine monastery:

c. 6th century AD

ΝΙΨΟΝ ΑΝΟΜΗΜΑΤΑ ΜΗ ΜΟΝΑΝ ΟΨΙΝ

(pronunciation: NIPSON ANOMIMATA MI MONAN OPSIN -
the double consonant "Ψ" can be given in English only as "PS")
(meaning: wash your sins, not only your face)

but they did not put any spaces between the words in proper mystic fashion:

ΝΙΨΟΝΑΝΟΜΗΜΑΤΑΜΗΜΟΝΑΝΟΨΙΝ

(I'm still trying to come to terms with its structural/moral importance, towards setting it to music some day)
