Help with posting a story

Hi there, I published a story and it's showing in my dashboard as pending but for two days nothing has happened. Am I missing something?

No, that's normal. See this thread in the Authors' Hangout for more detail about the process. It stays pending for a day or two. (For a small number of unlucky people, it stays there forever and no-one knows how to fix that, but you're not in that position yet.)

Like BeechLeaf said, it's normally for it to take up to 72 hours. Sometimes it's longer for new authors, my guess is because they don't have an existing track record. It's advised to wait until 15 days before directly contacting Laurel. Hopefully yours pops out soon, though.

It doesn't seem to bother anyone else though, judging by the lack of response when I raised the issue.

2 days is still too early to consider that pending purgatory. I suggest you wait a week and then PM @Laurel It doesn't guarantee anything.

I currently have 3 stories in pending purgatory. Been in pending status for 3 weeks. Also there are many other authors whose stories have been pending longer than yours. Bug reports have been filed.

Tks, I just wasn't sure how it works. I've submitted on other platforms and it's just gotten posted but good to know someone is looking at it. Is there somewhere that we can find rules for what gets posted and what goes too far to be in this forum?
