Here We Go Again With The Stories...

I got hit, too. Scum bags! Hope Laurel nails 'em good!

Looks like you also got hit on D is Dungeon by the same author I mentioned before on Alt.Com. although she did that under the name "CrimsonKisses." You'll be happy to know that it's scoring pretty well :D You would think a site that sees 32 new stories in about a week would realize that maybe there's a little problem

I googled because of this and found a couple more sites using my stuff. They didn't have author or title listed. Brazen bastards. They put their own copyright notices on.

I've found some of my stories here and there through Google. PM Laurel occasionally about it, but in all honesty I can't be bothered to do it too often. Yes, it pisses me off, but it will continue to happen. As soon as I put up my pictures or stories I am pretty much aware someone might/will steal it. If I absolutely don't want anything stolen in one way or the other, I won't post it online.

It still sucks though. grrr.

Looks I need to do a serious search myself. It's been awhile.

Let's go get 'em together, cant.

I'll bring my whips and paddles, you bring your firehose.

I got a Halligan, too. That and a pair of bolt cutters is like a skeleton key to everywhere. Good thing I'm fuckin honest.

Eh, how do I actually view the stories on this weird site?? To make sure it's my story and not someone elses with the same title.

I clicked the link in the forum, but end up on the index page. Does that mean they've taken it away? In general when I click the "categories" link on the index page I just end up back there.

Hell, I think someone else was right but I forget who now. Just googled "bearlee stories" and found tons of stories on all kinds of sites, alot of 'em paysites. One particular story I received no credit for on some swingers site and on another it was suggested it be read and mentioned "bearlee" and Literotica. Guess you can't beat 'em  Shouldn't I be getting some money from the paysites:mad:

Sure, I guess so. There's this one, which I reported to Laurel:

http://www.pormas.com/Hardcoremovies/Hardcore318.htm

And then there's a dozen or so very similar sites with snippets of my work and also other Lit stories. The words are interlarded with links. The whole thing is very surreal.

list

I searched with the first words of "Fire Pole" to get these. But I could do it with several other stories and reach the same pages.

Talking about your pole again, baby? ;)

One thing I have noticed (and I have chased down a few of those sites before) is that some pay sites use our stories as bait.

You can google a sentence or two and it will take you to lolitas.com, or studs4freegaysex, or some such nonsense. And it never makes sense. I'll find my romantic stories on gay sites, and wild anal sex tales on sweet married love and whatever.

They use story words to draw in suckers to the pay pic sites.

Jerks. I have gotten apologies before, and promises to remove the stuff and whatever. Still jerks.

Small aside here - google is not as effective as other searches I've been noticing. I did the searches again on Yahoo's search engine and found more sites.

For whatever that's worth.
