What you ignore (or fail to comprehend) is that the post you quoted was addressing the possibility of using Christie as an attack dog against Clinton. He has his very own ongoing email scandal.

For nearly four years now the GOP been trying to get Hillary and they still have squat except a bunch of hot air and wishes. Their 22 "BENGHAZI" farcical investigations have turned into something entirely different, a four year politically motivated swiftboat attempt.

Trey Gowdy is Ken Starr in this version of the GOP Clinton political witch hunt. Except for the fact that Gowdy's blue dress has no DNA evidence, any evidence that DNA evidence was removed or ever existed. Just witnesses testifying that it should have been there.

Possible risk (of which there is no evidence that anything leaked to anywhere) to national security. Benghazi was a fishing expedition designed to politically assassinate Hillary Clinton in the same way Whitewater was toward the Clintons while Bill was President.

If Gowdy and his band of witch hunters were seriously concerned about Hillary's use of private email being a national security risk then they would also be looking into the fact that Powell and Rice also used private email accounts while Secretary of State.

It's abundantly clear that Republicans have no problem with the abuse of political power to "get back" at their enemies through intimidation and smear tactics.
