Here's How Donald Trump Could Become President

People in the military, or who have been in the military, are definitely more likely to be male than female, but many are non-white, and many are college educated.

What exactly do you mean by military and intelligence experts? Those in the military, or who have been in the military, or others who claim to be experts?

Two four-star generals, Bob Sennewald, former commanding general of the U.S. Army Forces Command and David Maddox, former commander in chief of the U.S. Army-Europe, announced their endorsement of Clinton on Thursday.

I mean people like this who have been at the very highest positions of military leadership.

Trump has his share of such supporters, as well. Personally, I couldn't care less what any of these individuals think. I make up my own mind.

Trump doesn't care either as he has stated, he advises himself.

He has a great brain.

Today's news is that Trump is calling for an end to the defense sequester. So let's review.

* Trump wants an increase in military spending.

* He is calling for tax cuts.

* He is calling for more spending on infrastructure.

* He's going to build a wall on the border with Mexico, which Mexico will not pay for, and a new national police force to round up immigrants.

* He is favor of launching trade wars all over the world, which will raise prices on almost everything, and in turn raise interest rates

* He says we need to spend more on veterans.

* He is opposed to any cuts in middle class entitlements.

Remember when the Tea Party was supposedly all about reining in the out-of-control deficit? It was always bullshit, but their love affair with Trump makes it obvious.

I'm not a fan of Trump (God no, he's quite a conman, as you mentioned before).

But a bit off-topic: ironic that both presidential candidates (Hillary and Trump) asked for more military spending.
Yet the latest two audits of the Pentagon (now and many years ago) revealed cooked books and an attempt to cover for TRILLIONS of dollars unaccounted for.

What's even more strange, is the fact that such an enormously important finding got lost in the newschatter.

For the record, the "Draft Dodger" just got endorsed publicly by 88 retired generals and admirals as being the better choice over Hillary Clinton for the next CIC.
I noticed that one of those retired generals endorsing Trump got nailed for mishandling classified information.

Naughty, naughty.

Yep and he paid the price, just like the Navy convicting a PO2 and sending him to prison. That's what happens to you when you fuck up national security.

Unless your name is Hillary Clinton who has been made simply above the law by the AG and POTUS homies.

You're no doubt correct, but his standing among the military and vets is kind of a surprise considering his statements regarding prisoners of war and gold star family members.

I guess they just hate Hillary so much that they'll wear blinders regarding Trump.

That's the funny thing.

Hillary called Gold-Star "confused" (i.e. liars, but we've been instructed now by Adre that lying is normative in America for everyone), but that's NOT A BIG DEAL???

They somehow missed her remarks that Benghazi was a terrorist attack?

No surprise here, Trump holds a very big lead amongst white non-college males. I'm more interested in what military and intelligence experts think in evaluating commander in chief potential.

And what about his lead with Independents?

You know..., guys like you "not" Democrats?

You see Hillary as a CIC because Trump did the same thing her husband did, avoid the war via college...

Name two from the military at the level that Adre identified--and then Adre might note two more who have endorsed Clinton and then it's your turn again to be specific. Or, like Trump, are you all hazy, empty claims?

But how do you feel about his statements regarding prisoners of war? Or his verbal spat with a gold star family? I can understand disliking Hillary, but do you really like Trump or do you just really hate Hillary?

You don't have to answer that. Consider it rhetorical. I'm not trying to call you out or anything but I do wonder about this issue. I have a couple of cousins who are vets and Trump supporters. I don't discuss politics in real life much, but I do sometimes wonder about how they prioritize their dislikes. WE probably has it right. It's habit and assimilation into a certain mindset.

I'll tell you as I see them.

That they were meant to win the primaries. That they were meant to display to the Republican elite why they could not longer win elections; why McCain lost and why Romney lost: because they were above getting down into the mud with the Democrats, and he wallowed, because he is a Democrat, and he won, and he is going to drag Hillary down in the mud with him and he is going to come up wearing her lipstick.

;) ;)

That's why I am voting for the BIG Johnson weld...

I'm not fond of John McCain, so wasn't bothered when Trump made his statement about him. I think Trump holds veterans, including most former POWs, in high regard. I realize you think his statement about preferring veterans who weren't captured over veterans who were captured is a big deal, but it's not to me.

The spat with the family who trashed Trump at the Democratic convention was understandable, to me. Trump fights back. He could have handled things better, obviously, as he could have with McCain being a former POW, but he's not PC, as everybody knows.

I can't stand Hillary Clinton. I don't care who beats her. I'll take Trump, Johnson, or Stein. Doesn't matter. It will probably be Trump if one of them beats her, of course, but I'm not planning on voting for him.

John McCain was the Republican Democrats professed to love because he was so willing to trash the members of his own party. Then he won and they turned on him. In The Donald, we have a Democrat who has turned on his party and they hate them for it, even though they made his victory possible.

Veterans are just as partisan as other social groups. They turn on each other at every opportunity. Remember the Swiftboaters?

They used Kerry's own book to impeach at least one of his Purple Hearts...

Whats your degree in?

Political Science?

I watched some of his speech and what you left out is how he plans to save the money to enact his plans.

You never said boo when Obama was telling us how we were going to save money and he was going to grow the economy because of Obamacare, but then, hey, as Adre teaches us,

ALL POLITICIANS LIE!!!

It's unarguable that overall, the military far more supports The Donald than Billary.

It's just as unarguable that federal law enforcement overall totally despises Billary...

...as does state and local law enforcement.

It has nothing to so with her sex....

...it has everything to do with her being an egomaniacal, power-starved, pathologically lying, needs-to-be-everyone's-mommy Bitch.

In fact, even including the bozo in the Oval Office now, there's never been a serious presidential candidate more loathed than Billary.

Four years of her administration and the only ones left to wannabe enforce any of her socialist bullshit and imperial nation-corrupting edicts will be her sexist-sister Blurt Bitches and their Boys...

...against almost everyone else.

That'll be a gas to watch...

Do you dispute my claim?

Yes.

100%

Most of them make broad outlines of what they wish to accomplish, which we all know, in all probability, they cannot. Example, if you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor. (Of course it was not true but maybe the young Senator believed it at the time.)

What Hillary and Bill have done is lie to our face.

I did not have sexual relations with that woman.

It was a protest about a movie.

I landed under sniper fire...

But for years, I have noticed this inclination by Democrats, which I even postulated as one of my corollaries (I need to fire up my old computer and transfer some files) that, [paraphrase] When a Republican does it, it is a High Crime and Misdemeanor, but when a Democrat does it, *shrug* well they all do it.

And what is the underlying assumption about the Republican?

Well, it's the H-word! HYPOCRISY!

When the Democrat does it, in the words of Donna Brazile, it's the criminalization of normal behavior.

But let's be fair, you're 'not' a Democrat...
