Here's How Donald Trump Could Become President

In 2013 Florida's Attorney General Pam Bondi asked Donald Trump for a donation to her ECO (a 527 group, like a PAC), "And Justice For All."

He pledged $25,000, which arrived just as Ms. Bondi was considering whether to prosecute Trump University for fraud, like other state AG's were doing. She declined to prosecute.

Trump's accountant claims that he got confused about where the money should go, Florida or Kansas, and in his confusion withdrew the money from the Trump Foundation instead of Trump's personal account. He sent it to Florida, but the Trump Foundation people thought it went to Kansas so they didn't think it was an improper donation.

Let's go over that again.

Donald's accountant sends Trump Foundation money to Florida and tells the Trump Foundation that the money went to Kansas. Thus the Trump Foundation doesn't know that they did anything wrong.

Matthew 6:3 When you give to charity, don't let your left hand know what your right hand is doing.

Eventually the IRS slaps them with a $2,500 penalty. "Justice For All" of Kansas got nothing.

Not only that, why the hell isn't Bondi being investigated for taking bribes to drop a criminal investigation?

I'm not at all sure our current Supreme Court would see this as a bribe.

BTW, this is the first day I've seen this story get any significant play on cable news (CNN and MSNBC at least -- I assume not Fox). The left is slowly learning how to play the game -- complain about coverage until you're hoarse, and you can eventually get them to do your bidding.

As proof, I note that the main political story today on MSNBC and CNN, other than the polls, is Hillary coughing. It took weeks and weeks of wingnut insinuations, but they've finally taken their bullshit mainstream.

“Trump doesn’t reflect Republican ideals of the past; we are certain he shouldn’t reflect the GOP of the future,” the editorial added. “Donald Trump is not qualified to serve as president and does not deserve your vote.”

New York Times? Er, not exactly. Dallas Morning News!

Which has endorsed every Republican since the last time the Democrats nominated a Texan for President.

Trump had an event in Virginia Beach today, and I notice he was sitting. Is he sick? Tired? Just feeling all of his 70 years? It would be irresponsible not to ask.

AIDS? MS? Calling Dr. AJ, calling Dr. Dizzy! Was that a cough?

It sounds to me like the Whig party is really in trouble here..

Earlier you only made a 23 year old allusion. Now you're up to 156 years? What's next, cave drawings?

You are so right. Reviewing history is a complete waste of time when one can just simply ignore history and watch it in rerun.

How do you decide which character to trot out? I'd think Smoop could have been more interesting here...

The economy is only doing well if your in the top 10%. Otherwise you're either stagnating or losing ground.

And the unemployment rates are low because they aren't counting people who are more than capable of working but just quit looking for jobs, because fuck it. Less than 1/2 of the country works full time.

If I were a Clinton supporter that would make me nervous.

I wouldn't be....it's so stacked for her that even if Trump nails her to the wall by 20 points in NOV he'll just have an unfortunate accident and she will pull some congressional legal fuckery and wind up winning anyhow.

I predicted a 50-100 E.C.V. win for Clinton on the Politics Board. Hillary might make me look bad!

On the brighter side, a tight race would increase the chances of a 12th Amendment scenario, and ClinTrump could lose.

Trump may make a lot of people look bad, including me. I thought he had no shot at even the GOP nomination when he first announced he was running.

So either minimum wage is too low, or people lack a decent work ethic, or both.

I'm sorry it's a bit more complicated than that.

There are numerous elements involved and those two are part of it.

But we also have to take into account the anti business climate of the US. Most democrats and republicans have been waging all out fuckin' war against the entrepreneur for decades. Major symptom of corporatism, and socialism too.

And there is the boo boo education system that's been hosed into worthlessness via greed of several flavors and social justice (gold stars for everyone) pushing standards down to the lowest common denominator.

Now the latest wave of victim culture.....where whenever you fail you look for the most emotionally appealing thing nobody can disprove and cry victim of sexism/racism of some kind. All the kids growing up thinking that's how life works are FUCKED.

I am on record here that all politicians tell lies. Successful ones in particular. That includes Hillary. It also includes Reagan, B. Clinton, Bush, et al. I'm voting for Commander in Chief, not Scout Den Leader.

That's why I am considering Trump.

He's not a politician and Hillary voters are voting for a liar, a known liar, as if that was just normative behavior. No wonder she gets by with doing far worse things to people than Trump has ever been accused of...

Funny of all of the various hats the President of the United States actually wear the one you decide to use as commander-in-chief. Hillary Clinton who loathes the military. Who was in The Situation Room for both Mogadishu in Benghazi great judgment in both cases

Who declared that as Secretary of State, Embassy security was not her purview...

;)

Who will be in charge of commander-in-chief duties when events begin to arise, as they did beginning with the Cairo speech?

LOLz. It's a cripple fight between economic illiterates.

Neither knows what they're talking about but by funk they're gonna say it.

While Trump has positively glowing credentials: thin-skinned, braggart, disloyal, narcissistic, borderline (or actual) attention deficit disorder, indecisive, dishonest. Everything you'd want in a Commander in Chief. Build that wall! Bribe that AG!

All of which is true for Hillary, the Liar...

Maybe she was lying about security not being her purview to cover up her incompetence and lack of attention to detail. Security was probably Huma's job, you know, the girl from The Muslim Brotherhood. The outfit Hillary and Huma turned over to the Brotherhood.
