Here's How Donald Trump Could Become President

It certainly looks like a job. Of course Trump won't be indicted. He's too big to indict in America. He could, as he states, shoot someone and not only get away with it probably get a boost in the polls. That's just life. And the truth is is that this is a law we know all politicians break and nobody actually gives a shit. It's frankly a stupid law that shouldn't exist but it does. And he broke it.

There are a litany of reasons why Trump should never be president and frankly this (while accurate) is a desperate thing to cling to.

If Carson had said Trump promised him Secretary of Education in return for his endorsement, that would be illegal. Carson said nothing of the sort.

And yes, it's desperation time, apparently.

Too bad Lit doesn't have a breathalyzer. Sean would never get to post.

Where is he getting this insane whack job bullshit from?

Nope. A job offer is a job offer and it's illegal. Hell Carson is intentionally vague on the position either because he knows he's breaking the law or because he think's he's in the clear with his games.

Logic and reality. We Seans are kinda symbiotic like that.

Can you find me a citation for that? Or is it just your dumbfuck opinion as usual?

First of all, Carson did not reference being offered a specific job, or any job at all, so far as I can tell, but second, he did not say a word about his endorsement being tied in any way to his possibly being an advisor in a Trump administration. This is worse than grasping at straws. It's going nowhere, as you have already indicated. Makes Trump opponents look foolish, or worse.

Your outré definition of what constitutes a "position".

You stupid motherfucker, candidates of both major parties commonly discuss who they rely upon and will rely upon for expert advice in a future administration. Trump has been doing it for months, you ignoramus. This is not news.

LMAO. The difference is, Carson admitted it.

That Trump offered him a position in his administration. This isn't fucking rocket science.

Apparently it's rocket science to you. There's no quid pro quo, which is necessary under the law. Unless you know something I don't. Where's the quid pro quo?

Where does it say that in the law?

Where does it say that in the law?

"Whoever, being a candidate, directly or indirectly promises or pledges the appointment, or the use of his influence or support for the appointment of any person to any public or private position or employment, for the purpose of procuring support in his candidacy..."

Did you actually watch the video of the Carson interview?

No. Did he say Trump offered him a job or a position in exchange for his endorsement? If he did, that would be a crime. If he didn't, this is a bunch of bullshit going nowhere.

Jesus fucking Christ.

Just quote what he said.

Carson seemed less than enthusiastic about his decision to back the GOP front-runner, telling conservative online site NewsMaxTV that he backed Trump based on a practical calculus with the promise of being adequately compensated in a potential Trump administration.

When pressed to clarify, Carson confirmed that he would have preferred ideally to back one of the other candidates. Further into the interview, Carson then went onto say that Trump promised him a role in his administration which was “certainly in an advisory capacity.”

TRUE. AMERICANS DON’T LIKE BULLIES. Richard Cohen: Anti-Trump Protesters May Just Get Trump Elected.
