I heard that quote on the news hence the lack of a link.
Hillary's 'merits' are merit her the office. Trump is doing himself in.
Has anyone here considered that maybe Trump is not so "reformed" a Democrat as originally thought?
Maybe his purpose of getting into the election process was to get Hillary elected?![]()
At this point it's obvious that she's spewing mindless gibberish and making statements which have no basis in fact. She posts an irrelevant link trying to prove her point, then says she got her information from TV while the biggest turds on Lit cheer her on.
She's a complete waste of time.

Interesting set of opinions in this thread. Everyone is entitled to his/hers, but no one is entitled to have others agree with them. Spewing hate talk isn't an opinion, by the way, it is just a tirade and intimidation.
Here's what I think will happen and why:
Hillary is going to win by 10+ points.
Gary Johnson, the libertarian, is going to get around 12% of the vote.
The reason why is that the Republican party is split too deeply, so much so that it barely exists. It started with the Tea Party movement, but that movement became a hate-filled rant against government generally, including Republicans, and morphed into a White Nationalist movement. Before long, it became an internal schism in the Republican party that became manifest with Ted Cruz lambasting his party and shutting the government down and with the ouster of Eric Cantor.
Many of my friends are conservatives politically, but they are are "traditional" conservatives - strong on business, national defense, generally laissez faire on trade, and of varying views on social issues. They don't like regulation or taxes, and pretty much are a button down, fairly (or more) monied. Most of them are pro-choice (believe it or not) and support gunrights.
I disagree with them on many of those issues to one degree or another, but they are decent, normal people.
Very, very few of them are going to vote for Trump. They just aren't interested in an insult machine, and are embarrassed about it. They don't think that anyone other than a white southern baptist male is the enemy, and needs to be treated and spoken about as such.
Most of them despise Hillary. A lot of democrats don't like her either.
But millions of mainstream Republicans in large numbers are going to vote for Johnson, not so much because they like him but because it gives them a place to go.
Meanwhile, the population of angry white males is declining. It has an exaggerated voice in primaries and caucuses where turnout is very low and largely the playground of the most extreme elements of both parties. This nation is more multi-cultural, more diverse, the trends are moving in that direction very fast.
It's going to be a landslide in the electoral college. I'm not all that fired up about President Hillary, but I'll be grateful that Trump can go away.
Trump need only hammer Hillary on the Obama Economy & Terrorism. He doesn't need to outspend her but he does need to take it to her hard in swing states. He needs to focus on Ohio, Penn & Florida. Undecided is 25%, which is huge.

He needs to start doing that sooner or later. The Beast made a good speech today and hammered him pretty hard. Of course it was all lies, bullshit, and platitudes, but that's what way too many people want to hear these days. I thought it was interesting how she droned on about unemployment, income inequality, etc. as if a Republican had been president the past eight years.
I laughed. Wait until we see the Democrats blast Trump (merely by using his own words against him) on both the economy (in which they can use his personal economy alone to sink him) and terrorism. We still, incidentally, are waiting for his promised response on Clinton's leveling foreign policy speech, aren't we?
We don't have to wait to know all of the nonsense ExCuntClinton is in to. All you have to do is open your ears and mind and listen. When all else fails, try a little common sense.
Double-down, dummy!
Trump's need of campaign cash makes me smile.
Me too, and Bachmann is the icing on the bat shit crazy cake.
And that is how one goes from mildly amusing to sad and pathetic in just one post.
