In new poll, support for Trump has plunged, giving Clinton a double-digit lead

Support for Donald Trump has plunged as he has alienated fellow Republicans and large majorities of voters overall in the course of a month of self-inflicted controversies, propelling Democrat Hillary Clinton to a double-digit lead nationally in a new Washington Post-ABC News poll.

Shoot the messenger, miles? :)

Polls this far from an election are of little to no value, especially when they are weighted so heavily to one side over the other.

How many polls have you posted? I know why they have little value to you, but you are a fucking moron who's voting for Drumpf.

They have little value because they are unreliable, idiot, not because they have value to dumbasses like you who who don't understand polling.

So you're saying we needs......UNSKEWED POLLS?

Shades of the late, unlamented Vetteman!

So, you're completely non-committal.

Just say that instead, and save yourself some words. ;)

The only thing I'm certain about is I won't be voting for Hillary. You can take that to the bank. I hope somehow Johnson and/or Stein can gain some traction, and make things interesting.

Anybody who thinks there are 50% more Democrats than Republicans in the US is dreaming. The poll dumbass posted had 36% Democrats and 24% Republicans in its polling.

The trend has been 33% Democrat to 27% Republican for a few years now, according to Pew Research which tracks this historically. The remainder are "independents".

The Post acknowledged the uptick in Democrats and downturn in Republican self-identification in the past 30 days, which coincidentally occurred when Trump clinched the Republican nomination. I'm not surprised in the least.

You seem to really get upset when facts intrude into your carefully woven reality-distortion cocoon. :D

The distortion is 50% more Democrats than Republicans. But keep dreaming. :D

The Right track Wrong track poll is always the most consistent. That number rarely changes and it's the best indication as to the voters mindset.

Right now it's 70% wrong track which is bad for Clinton, who is seen and is portraying herself as more of the same (wrong track) .

The source will be disparaged in 5, 4, 3...

The source is fine.

The polls are fine.

What is not exactly Jake is the total lack of awareness of who was leading in the polls every summer for decades and who actually ended up winning.

But, "There you go again!"

Polls are worthless.... Washington Post says Hillary running away with, Wall Street Journal says about a 5 point difference....with Trump adding in the last few weeks, Hillary remaining the same. Just vote...

Not really. Right track wrong track is a binary choice that doesn't accurately reflect the opinion of the voters. No place is this more evident than it is on Obamacare polls. There is always a huge chunk that disapproves but a lot of them think it doesn't go far enough.
