I asked about security because wife just returned from a cruise the week you were gone. They were in Cozumel (sp) where there were armed guards on almost every corner carrying machine guns. She said it was quite alarming and kind of scarey. They didn't see any violence there or any of the other five stops they made. Just lots of security. Nothing wrong with security.
I know I like feeling safe!

The police around Cancun were mostly for the wild spring breakers, but I do believe their presence made it a lot safer for eveyone.
